This was our last stay in our Galapagos trip, and it certainly ended things on a great note. Every aspect of this hotel is beautiful and flawless. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful. From the moment we arrived, the manager greeted us and offered complimentary drinks for both kids and adults during check-in. Throughout our stay, it felt like everyone was dedicated to ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect. We stayed in the suite, and found it clean, modern and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the sofa bed was probably one of the biggest we’ve seen (which the kids appreciated). Our room included two separate bathrooms, which were impeccable. Our balcony was spacious and had great views of the town and docks. The heated pool is a nice touch, allowing for enjoyable swims later in the evening (pool is open until 10pm). The drinks and food served in the pool area were of excellent quality, with the most extensive cocktail offerings we saw across all the hotels we stayed at during our trip. Breakfast is complimentary and we all enjoyed the food. Wi-fi was slow, which is not uncommon on the islands. It still seemed somewhat faster on average compared to other places we visited. The hotel is a bit pricey, but given our experience, welcoming staff and excellent facilities, absolutely worth it.

Erika, Argenis, (front desk). “ Everyone ” at the restaurant and bar. Maids, Security, “ Everybody “. It’s really appreciated and enjoyable. I pamper myself wherever I go and I got pampered !!!

Our four-night stay here after Christmas 2023 was absolutely incredible! The hotel is beautiful and inviting, the rooms are good size with views of the harbor and the ever-entertaining sea lions. Perfect location, fantastic food (the ceviche is off the charts). On top of all this, the service was first-rate. Erika, Jorge, and Argenis at the front desk helped us finalize day trips and shared helpful tips about the island. Stwart and Daniel C were standouts in the restaurant and at the pool. All was truly above and beyond - thank you! Yes, it's pricey, but it was worth every penny and helped make our vacation to San Cristobal one for the books. (And, yes, the wi-fi is slow, but it is slow on the entire island. Here again, the front desk staff saved the day by helping to reach guides and tour groups I wasn't able to contact on my own.) Bravo all around!

Undoubtedly one of the best hotels, even though the internet is not the best it can go unnoticed, thanks to Erika at our entrance for all her help and information provided, they could only improve that all the staff meet the same quality standard and Attention, Cecilia, thank you very much for all your recommendations, the cocktails and exceptional bar food, I hope to see you soon

Cecilia was excellent, making sure everything was seamless. I stayed when this property was brand new and things were still getting a little sorted but the staff was helpful and over the top courteous. The bar made good drinks which I had in the pool area one day and the bar area one night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff took care of every small request quickly and happily (or at least faked happy) which is hard to come by sometimes. After I learned about the area, I was able to walk to a small grocery and to other dining, etc. The one thing you need to be warned about is the mirror situation. It is a beautiful mirror but I the lighting on it or something about it made it very hard to see in. I don't wear makeup but I could not pluck my eyebrows, etc. When I looked in a mirror elsewhere, I was surprised by my image as my hair was a sight and Albert Einstein's eyebrows were on my face. But everything else there was spectacular! The staff arranged taxis without complaints and greeted each person every time they came in. Since it was so new and there was only one other family there when I was there, the over helping of the staff almost got annoying so I am hoping as the staff settles in, that would tone down a bit. Oh, also, I went out quite early in the morning and the staff surprised me by packing me a lunch to take with me.

Woeful. Weak, unstable wifi - which was acknowledged as a known issue with no apparent remedy. Hostile Front of House Manager. Meagre, disappointing breakfast. Litany of additional service related issues. Inexcusable at this price point. Avoid.

After having a difficult time with a neighboring hotel, our travel agent was able to secure us a beautiful room at this hotel. The staff was charming and spoke good English. They booked us straight away into a top floor suite with a beautiful view of the harbor. They were super kind and seemed to know the neighboring hotel manager was not good. The suite was comfortable and spacious. We even got an excellent restaurant recommendation.

The Hotel Indigo was a great, comfortable place to stay. The staff was very accommodating and the room was nice. We were on the 3rd floor (303) and had a nice view of Playa de Oro and the sea lions. We were fishing with Ecuador Fly Fishing Tours (A+!) and had early morning starts. The kitchen made us fried egg sandwiches to go with a side fruit bowl. After fishing all day, the pool and bar staff were wonderful! And I cannot say enough about Stephanie and Maria, our massage therapists! Book 90 minutes because 60 minutes is not enough time for them to work their magic. The only negative is the bar uses plastic swivel sticks in drinks. For a place that is very ecologically forward, the plastic drink swivel sticks were not needed. Also, my husband left his wedding ring somewhere in the room and it hasn't been found yet but it hasn't even been 12 hrs since we checked out. I'm still hopeful they'll find the ring!
