Hotels in Xinghua Prefecture Historical and Cultural Block/City Hall, Putian

The location is super convenient. It's not far from Shouxu Park, perfect for a stroll or bike ride. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and it's a quick taxi ride to the old town for local snacks. The room was genuinely spacious and bright; even for the type I booked, it felt very roomy. The bed was plush, and the pillow height was just right, ensuring a truly deep sleep. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and hot water was instant. The toiletries were Shangri-La's own brand, with a refreshing scent, and felt lovely to use. Drawing back the curtains revealed a decent city view, and the sunlight streaming in during the day made the room warm and inviting. Service was impeccable; every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was incredibly polite. During check-in, the lady at the front desk had a sweet smile and even proactively offered a late check-out (which I didn't end up needing, but it was a very thoughtful gesture). Breakfast offered a rich variety. You absolutely must try the local Putian braised noodles (Lu Mian) and wonton-like dumplings (Bian Shi); the Lu Mian, in particular, had a truly authentic flavor, even better than some small local eateries! Western options like bread, bacon, and yogurt were also available. All ingredients were fresh, and I left feeling very full and satisfied. The restaurant environment was clean, and the staff were very diligent in clearing plates, so you never had to wait. The hotel also features a swimming pool and a gym. The pool water was very clean and the temperature was just right – kids would definitely love it if you're traveling with family. The gym was well-equipped, making it convenient if you wanted to get a workout in. Additionally, there are hot springs nearby, perfect for a relaxing soak. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. Whether you're visiting Putian for leisure or business, this hotel is a perfect choice. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

I have been stay at Hilton Putian for few times, the front desk staffs are very friendly, the duty manager Elaine is very helpful, the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is nice, its a very good hotel for foreign guest to stay, and will choose it again next visiting.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly; check-in and check-out were both handled efficiently and quickly. They patiently answered all our questions about local dining options, and their recommendations for restaurants were spot-on – the food was fantastic! The complimentary buffet breakfast offered a great variety of dishes, and the quality was excellent. It was incredibly satisfying to start each day with such a rich and delicious meal. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and offered excellent value for money. I would definitely choose Fengdalin Hotel again on my next visit to Putian, and I highly recommend it to anyone!

The room was nice and I was quite satisfied with the bathroom. But the renewal price increase was too large. After reporting it to the Ctrip platform, it was quickly resolved. I have to give it a thumbs up. The front desk service level needs to be improved. I reported that the room card could not be swiped into the door. I reported it to the front desk three times on the first day, but I was still turned away when I came back the next day.

The room is clean, tidy and comfortable, sanitary and bright, without any odor. It is convenient for eating and shopping around, and the parking is good. They also sent small fruits thoughtfully. The children like it very much. I will choose Dibao Garden next time I come.

The hotel has a great location, and this stay experience is perfect! The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was amazed by the exquisite and elegant environment, and the surrounding environment is good. Every waiter in the lobby is warm and thoughtful, especially Xiaoou in the lobby! The whole process was warm and thoughtful, not only patiently answering various questions, but also thoughtfully preparing small surprises, making people feel the warmth of home ~ The service is professional and kind, and every need during the stay was responded to quickly, thank you very much!

The room was spacious and well-appointed. They provided pour-over coffee and good quality tea. The mini-fridge had complimentary sugar-free Coke, sparkling water, and two bottles of iced water. The comfortable bedding included two pillows—one for sleeping and one for propping up—which were a great touch. Earplugs and a steam eye mask were thoughtfully provided for sleeping, even though the room itself was already quite quiet. The shower had strong water pressure, but the overhead shower in my room was unfortunately broken and didn't work. The laundry room was excellent, with plenty of efficient machines and luxurious, well-equipped facilities. Breakfast was plentiful, and there were ample parking spaces, making it ideal for guests traveling by car. Overall, with complimentary breakfast included, it offers outstanding value for money. I'll definitely try to choose Orange chain hotels for future stays.

I don’t really write reviews unless exceptionally good or bad but this is really a negative experience … Firstly, not recommended if coming to stay in cold season (Autumn/ Winter/ Spring). The aircon/ heater system is centralised so you can’t adjust the temperature. Secondly, according to the receptionist, they only have ONE tower fan so not really available. Lastly, the attitude of receptionist and housekeeping is extremely unfriendly compared to before (I stayed here 3 times) and I put a good review in 2023. This time, the solution they provided to a female guest is to open the window and curtain at night for cold air… which I personally think is inconsiderate for a female guest. I gave my feedback to the receptionist when I checked-out so hopefully they can add more tower fans to their inventory.

The location of the hotel is very good, at the entrance of Fenghuangshan Park, opposite the Putian People's Bank, next to the hotel is McDonald's and a restaurant, shopping is very convenient. If you want to walk around Putian city, it is suitable to book here.
