"The hotel's service was quite good. Staff members always greeted me proactively. When checking in, they asked if I was an IHG member. Since I booked through Ctrip, I thought I wouldn't be able to link my account, but they offered to do it anyway and even gave me a welcome drink. They were also prompt in helping with any issues. The room was kept pretty clean, and there's both an indoor and outdoor heated pool, plus a gym. Overall, it offers good value for money."

"This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The lobby is simple and bright, the front desk service is warm and friendly, and the room is huge – much more spacious than any business room I've stayed in at other hotels. The bedding and mattress are comfortable, and I found no hidden dirty spots. The vanity area is very well-designed, with a large countertop that also serves as a divider. Both the shower and toilet areas are also quite roomy. The overhead rain shower provides a consistent temperature and good water pressure. Breakfast was incredibly rich, especially the rice noodle bar with its wide variety of toppings, and the fish was delicious. The only downside was the lack of fresh lettuce (for Western-style cold dishes). The restaurant environment is elegant and spacious, the garden is beautifully designed, and there are plenty of recreational facilities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. I hope they can maintain this level of quality. Wishing them a prosperous business!"

"What a pleasant surprise! The room was spotless and well-organized. What really stood out was having tissues and a small trash can right by the sink – a first for me, and so convenient for someone who wears makeup and needs tissues frequently. The front desk staff was also amazing; they kindly allowed me to extend my check-out time because of the heavy rain, so I could wait until it stopped. Really great service, Atour is definitely my top choice nationwide."

"Traveling with my family to Fujian for Chinese New Year, I found the hotel's parking very convenient. The location isn't far from Xinghua Mansion Historical and Cultural Street in the city center; it's about a 15-20 minute walk or a less than 10-minute ride on a rented electric scooter. As an IHG member, I've always trusted the InterContinental Hotels Group brand, having stayed at Holiday Inn locations elsewhere before. However, this time I was a bit disappointed with the service. For example, the front desk was unwilling to waive the breakfast fee for my child, and the variety at the buffet breakfast was quite limited. In the restaurant, during the Chinese New Year holiday, there was a noticeable shortage of staff, and tables weren't cleared promptly. What's more, a shabbily dressed young boy was collecting breakfast tickets at the restaurant's front desk. Overall, the cleanliness of the hotel room was good, but there's definitely room for improvement in the service."

"Overall, the hotel was a decent stay with a few drawbacks. It’s about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which is convenient, although the building looks a bit shady from the outside. Inside, however, it’s very clean, the rooms are brand new as well. We arrived at 1am and found it closed, so we had to call to check in, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside was the noise, there were firecrackers and fireworks going off until 5am (likely due to New Year’s Eve), making it hard to sleep. Also, the room only had one towel for two people. Overall, clean and modern, but with some inconveniences."

"This newly opened Vienna Hotel on the beach was such a pleasant surprise! The location is absolutely amazing – just a few steps out the door and you're right on the beach. The sand is soft and fine, and the sea view is completely unobstructed. The hotel is brand new, with fresh and clean facilities. Our room was spacious and bright, and the floor-to-ceiling windows made for an incredible ocean-view experience. The staff were warm and attentive, providing detailed and excellent service. Overall, it was a quiet and comfortable stay, a perfect vacation experience. For a beach getaway, this is definitely my top choice, highly recommended!"

"The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Wenjia Wharf. I have been to the road to Zuzu Temple. There is a bus stop of 123. It is very convenient to go to all the attractions. We arrived yesterday with a cooling light rain. We took the bus to visit the whole island. It is very convenient to take the bus today. Goosewei Beach Geopark! Because the wind blows cold, friends who can come to the island must see the weather forecast and bring a windproof coat! Breakfast is also delicious! Cost-effective!"
Meizhou Island Haizi·Xinsu (Mazu Temple Store)
"The room was spacious, bright, and clean, making for a very pleasant stay. Upon checking in, I was delighted to find a small plate of Mazu cakes thoughtfully prepared in the room. The owners, a wonderful couple, truly made us feel at home. When we arrived in the afternoon, the owner personally picked us up from the pier and also drove us back when we departed. The proprietress was incredibly kind and gentle; she enthusiastically helped us book tickets for the 'Impressions of Mazu' show that evening and even managed to upgrade our seats. Later that night, I caught a chill and had an upset stomach. The proprietress, with such warmth, personally brought her hot water bottle to my room. On our departure day, heavy fog caused the ferry service to be suspended. We rebooked high-speed rail tickets for the afternoon, and the proprietress kindly arranged a late check-out for us. Their hospitality was truly warm and thoughtful. The only thing I wasn't used to was finding disposable towels and bath towels in the room. I ended up buying my own towels from a supermarket. Perhaps the owner considered personal hygiene, or maybe it's because of the island's humid air making it difficult for towels to dry. However, I still hope they wouldn't use disposables. After all, they're not cotton and aren't comfortable to use. Overall, it was a great stay. Thumbs up!"

"The B&B has a good location, not far from the pier and Mazu Temple. The boss drives to the pier for free, which is very convenient. The decoration of the room is the style I like, it feels like home. The beds are clean and hygienic, the facilities in the house are complete, and disposable toilet seats are thoughtfully provided. Not far from home is the seaside. Rent an electric bike and ride along the seaside. The scenery along the way is stunning! I had a great time in Meizhou Island and will come again if I have the chance!"

"Full score recommended Lushan Guyu (Mazu Zumiao Store)! The location is impeccable, a few steps away from the Zumiao. The whole house is particularly hygienic, the room is lighted, the bathroom is dry and wet, and the sleep is very stable. The boss is warm and thoughtful, the pier pick-up, warm breakfast is all available, and will share the strategy of avoiding pits. The atmosphere of the homestay is warm and comfortable, the price is full, this is the first choice for Weizhou Island!"

"To better experience the scenery on the southern side of Meizhou Island, we chose the Seaview Grand Hotel for our second stop, which seems to be the largest hotel in the south. The southern part of Meizhou Island is different from the north; it's quieter and less commercialized. There are slightly fewer open-air food stalls, but there's a snack street nearby. The hotel has its own swimming pool, and right outside is a beach, which is very convenient! We only stayed here for one night and then it was time to leave, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the relaxation and leisure. As we were leaving, a family member remarked, 'This hotel is better than that one (referring to a hotel in the north) 😄'"
