The Hotel is quiet old. Our room has some broken floor. However, we really appreciate with warm welcoming from the staffs, polite and friendly front and coffee shop staff, the quiet and nice atmosphere (we can walk around the very wide nice clean hotel compound both in the morning and evening), wide and spacious room and bathroom, nice traditional buffet breakfast (even there's not much choice but we had more than full stomach) and especially they have very tasty traditional hot milk-tea. It is like honeymoon-like-stay for us.

Excellent location surrounded by forest and green garden. Super big bungalow house with 50 square meter suite room. Very clean room and good service. Every time we visit Pyin Oo Lwin, the Aureum Palace hotel is always our family top choice to stay.

The room I checked in kept out of power.
At first I thought it was a power outage, but it was only our room.
I contacted the staff, but they didn't come after a while.
The late staff smelled of alcohol.

This is a nice hotel in Binwood, very quiet. The downside is that it's a hassle to get here at night unless you have your own transport. The rooms are large villas: spacious and well furnished. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Because I have been staying in this chain hotel, a big weakness is that the standard of the bathroom is much lower than that of the room. Another downside is that eating in restaurants is a bit expensive for Myanmar's consumption level. If you have time, it is also good to visit the old government buildings.
