During the three-day New Year's Day holiday, I drove from Shanghai to Quzhou to celebrate the New Year. I chose a hotel and saw the comments section. I felt that this B&B was different. The boss responded to the comments and it felt like he was a very transparent person. I have a feeling that I will have a different experience during the 2023 New Year’s Eve here. The boss stated in the introduction that check-in should be done before 22:00, so my girlfriend and I rushed to check in at around 7pm in anticipation. Check-in was smooth. The boss was elegant and generous. There were 4 rooms in his house. Two of them were already occupied. The boss arranged the better one for us free of charge. His son took us upstairs thoughtfully and introduced us. Improved room facilities and ventilation. The layout of the room is elegant and warm, very Chinese style. I was stunned when the lights were turned on. It is the most stylish B&B I have ever stayed in. On New Year's Eve, when my girlfriend and I were talking on the phone to our family and friends in the room, a child suddenly knocked on the door and asked us if we would like to attend the New Year's Eve party. This... As expected, we had a premonition and went happily. The child led the way to the study room. , the landlady is arranging snacks in an orderly manner, his eldest daughter is preparing the projector, and the other two residents are also helping with small things within their capabilities. Everything is ready, and the party starts happily with the boss's congratulations. Considering the children, the time for setting off the fireworks was advanced to 11 o'clock. Several people came to the yard in a crowd, and the crackling sound was the perfect way to bid farewell to the old and welcome the new. After waking up in the morning, Zheng's boss agreed and walked around his yard. The Anhui-style buildings and Jiangnan gardens fit perfectly. The more we walked, the more frightened we became. This B&B may not be the owner's main business. The owner and his family should be quite happy living there. The entire B&B environment is quite good. In terms of operation, there is still room for a good B&B, but the entire garden is unpopular, and I didn't meet a single guest all day long. At night, it is so dark that it makes people think that there are monsters. During the day, when walking around the garden and looking at different views, I always wondered if there was a chair, preferably a deck chair, with a QR code to order some tea and snacks, where I could relax in the green and enjoy the scenery, but unfortunately there was not. Such a wooden structure building has no human taste and will smell of decay over time.

The planned itinerary was cancelled because I saw the whole landscape of the garden. I would rather choose to sit quietly and drink tea than to leave. If I hadn't left the room the next day, I really didn't want to leave. The rare tranquility is also because the children are taken to the academy to play games by the boss, playing games with connotation such as pitching pots. By the way, the homestay also does catering, the chef is very temperamental and has a lot of background, I must try it next time.
