Quirky place that’s a little run down but the uniqueness made up for it. Great location, middle of town. You can walk very easily to all things in red river

Eventually, this hotel will be pretty good. But right now, it's chaos. They have no phones in the room. There is no way to call the desk. The phone number they had in the room went to a past owner! Why did we need to call the front desk? THERE WAS NO HEAT IN THE ROOM. We slept in our clothes. When we went into the office the next day, they gave us the correct phone number and a discount for our stay, so rather than switching motels, we stayed. They replaced the batteries on the thermostat and put new information in the room.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. They are just starting a big remodel of half the rooms so it will be much newer in the rooms soon. Enjoyed our stay

Dumpsters and thrown out furniture in the parking lot right by our room. Peeling paint on the room entrance door. The ceiling light over the table does not work despite changing lightbulb. They should not be booking rooms until renovation done

There was a little construction going on which takes up some of the parking, but everything else was great. By the way the Aspens were gorgeous.

I think on big events you should get a Ponderosa parking pass for property parking. We had a big truck with a trailer and guest from the event driving normal cars were parking in the Ponderosa “Trailer parking only” parking spots on property. Staying in this hotel we had to park wayyyyy down at the end of Main Street and walk to our hotel. These parking spots should be more monitored for paying guests only.

Property was dated, needs a little touch up, but was still cozy and convenient to local area. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Bathroom needs a cosmetic makeover, but is functional. Staff was “Great” and made check in a breeze. Price is reasonable
Would stay again, and would recommend it to others, with the above advice and expectations.

The hotel is old and falling apart. Bed was rock hard. What angered me the most is when I'm sitting in the caved-in futon, my husband is dressing, and the cleaning lady's MOTHER freakin came into our room WITHOUT KNOCKING!!!!! Then had the audacity to be rude to me about it!!!
