Hotel Pefkos Beach

Just back from a week in Pefkos our first visit here. The hotel was great split over two levels, lower levels are around the swimming pools which there were 3 and higher level is up a big steep hill where we were. A vehicular lift gets you half way but you have to walk the rest not for people with walking issues or health problems. But the views are fantastic. The night we arrived we found our balcony facing a brick wall we asked to move and we got a fantastic room with a lovely view. All staff were lovely and wanted to help . One thing we didn’t know about was room tax at 1.50 euro per day so that was a hidden cost. Hotel has 3 pools each with loads of sun beds which was lovely. Maids came to the room every day to straighten beds and change towels but we found in a week our room ie the bathroom was never cleaned properly. Hotel and surrounding gardens all lovely and clean and well kept. Lots of toilets around pools and even a shower room to use on your last day if you didn’t want to keep your room. Prices in Pefkos are expensive so you need to have a good look around to get meals at a good price. Pool bar for snacks and drinks (never ate here) and a big supermarket which had everything you need. Mosquitoes are bad this time of year and seemed to like me so take lots of repellent and bite relief. The beach is not huge but nice. Pefkos is two big streets with lots of bars and restaurants to sample again prices I thought were high but shop around we had some lovely meals at great prices .

Great hotel, friendly staff and central In location. Nothing was too much trouble The higher apartments are accessed by a lift for your ease, we only stayed room only but ate breakfast a couple of times in the bar, there was plenty of choice. Would stay there again!

Had the best time staying at Pefkos beach. Really nice hotel with kind and helpful staff. Everything you need is within walking distance and reasonably priced. The local restaurants were of a great variety, clean and delicious menus. There were many excellent activities on the island and the hotel staff were of a great support in giving directions.

Perfect in every way!! From start to finish we had the best experience. Comfortable clean rooms, beds high standard and amazing views!! Staff so friendly and all of the hotel kept so clean. Location perfect!! We had the best week's holiday here and definitely will be back. Only thing I would ask is maybe some wine glasses and more plates etc in the room would be great. Could not fault this hotel and can see why people return every year! Just amazing and such a friendly, lovely atmosphere. Massive thanks to everyone at Pefkos Beach 😁

Excellent hotel, facilities and staff. Good choice of breakfast, fantastic swimming pools which are well maintained and very child friendly. Staff were very helpful, kind and laid back. The bar man Kiriakos made me and my family very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for him to help us, and his kindness and professionalism went a long way. We cannot wait to return!

We were a family of 6 staying in three studios for 10 nights. All three studios were very close to each other, as requested. Only one of them though, had a good view (across the bay), one of the other balconies faced a small courtyard where there was no sun at any time of day. It was pretty private and was quiet though. The third studio had a huge terrace but had a brick wall so could not see anything beyond. All studios were well equipped. Cleaning was a bit hit and miss, I think it depended on who did each room. Yannis and John in the reception were lovely. The pool bar served a wide selection of food and drink and we found it good value for money. The lower floor pool was always extremely busy, with all sunbeds reserved by 7.30am. The upper level pool though was a little quieter and we always found 6 beds together. The apartments are on a steep incline and even though there is the lift, a fair bit of up hill walking is required. One of our party definitely struggled with this, especially in 34 degree heat. The supermarket on site is great with very friendly, helpful staff. All in all, a nice stay, I would stay again.

The hotel and facilities are good. The rooms clean and the general value for money in terms of the holiday is good however I feel that the pricing of items is where your goodwill will be tested.. €2.50 bottle of water the shop below €.80 .. can on pop €3.50 shop €1 .. bowl of French fries €5. Beer €4.90 most other places €3.50 … the signs all around the place state not eating or drinking items that are not bought from the hotel can be allowed !! You are self catering so how does that work… my experience here is the cold fact that money has taken over from where you really felt valued as a holiday maker rather than a source of income 🥲 I must point out money is not the reason I put this on the review the loss of why I always travel still looking for the old Greek values 🥲

What a Hotel, What a family. 25 years we have been coming to this hotel and it never fails. We have all just got back to the UK from yet another amazing Holiday, the Migkos Family are always there to welcome us. We feel we have grown up with them and they treat us as their own. The Rooms have always been spotless the food around the pool bar is amazing, and the Nostalgia Restaurant is out of this world serving the most Delicious Food. I have to thank Phillip, Mihalis & Not forgetting young Antonis personally for putting a fantastic spread on for my wife’s Birthday. Kostas & Kostas Jnr Not forgetting Georgia in the Palm Bar who have always got a smiles on their faces. We stayed for 5 nights as part of an easyjet holiday. We enjoyed our stay, the room was practical, large, with a nice balcony with a view towards the sea. The cleaners always left us with towels shaped like elephants and hearts which we enjoyed coming back to. We had a few issues with the air conditioning which the night porter John was very helpful with. He gave us advice about places to go and how to get there, and was a genuinely helpful, kind and considerate man. The pool was very busy so we didn’t use it, but many of the neighbouring pools are free to use if you use their bar which we took advantage of. The pool bar was nice, we had a good breakfast here a couple of times, and the lady serving in the mornings was very friendly and attentive.
