Mediterranean Hotel

We only had breakfast, which was fine. Busy between 9am and 10am, better to go for breakfast before 9am if possible. Location good for Harbour and Old Town, about 15 minute walk. Beach directly in front of hotel. Pool on the small side, but there is good shade when it’s too hot. Only issue was the pool closed at 7pm. Would of been nice if it was open a little later to cool off after being out all day. Staff were helpful and polite. Hotel clean

We booked 2 rooms this hotel via our agency. When we arrived, it was discovered that one of our rooms was booked with incorrect dates. The receptionist who was in contact with the head managers assure that there is no room available, all is fully booked. We contacted our agency and surprisingly, they were able to book a room in the hotel online. Thanks to then we got a place to stay with all our family. As soon as the hotel managers see that we got a room, they offered us to cancel the online booking and to book it with them (although 5 min before they had no available room). Then we overpay to the hotel, they sold to us a sea view room, although our first booking was a sea front as you can see from the vouchers. Why do I attached the vouchers, because when we tell this to the hotel manager, she pretend to do not understand what we talk about. Perhaps she got problems with memory so we remind her all of this, and even she is forgetting to return the sum according to the contract. BUT THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY: we have learned from our agency that the manager, who do not understand what we talk about, did not agree to return even the part of the sum paid for the wrong booking which is called no show. They did not inform the agency about no show and normal hotels are fully understanding such situations, and do not charge for such mistakes. However, at list they should have returned the sum according to the contract notes in the voucher, 22% of the paid sum, which is about 500 Euros. So, CORRUPTION in the HEART OF THE BEAUTIFUL RHODES CITY. THE CITY AND OUR STAY IS SPOILED BY SUCH MONEY SEEKERS. AND they are treating the hotel staff with the same philosophy: to get the last cent from the pocket of the guest. As you see, the hotel is loosing its rating day by day, so the new management is making from the MEDITERRANEAN HOTEL a MEDITERRANEAN HELL.

Hotel had been recently renovated and our room was lovely, spacious and modern. However, our room didn’t have a safe, you could hear everything from the next room (even suitcases being zipped up) and the bed is rather hard. We stayed half board and the food was good, it became a bit repetitive especially for breakfast but we could always find something to eat. The real bonus of the restaurant is the staff they are friendly, cheerful and always willing to have a chat which was nice as they provided knowledge about Rhodes. The hotel is rated as 5 stars but it is not to a 5 star standard at all I would say it is a 4 star at best but personally it sits in the 3-4 star range. As mentioned the restaurant staff were all lovely but front of house service on the reception desk really needs work as there is a stark contrast of friendliness between the reception staff and the restaurant staff. The location is perfect the beach is right across the road and Rhodes old town is not a far walk at all. Advice to people staying is to check your final bill as we were charged for towels that we supposedly didn’t return eventhough we had. This was resolved quickly with the receptionist confirming we had returned the towels and we were refunded. But this also happened to someone checking out at the same time as us so be wary of that as we were over charged €20 . Overall it was an ok stay but as mentioned it is not a 5 star experience and we would not stay here again as we paid 5 star prices without the 5 star.

This hotel is on the beach - just cross the street. The hotel offers buffet breakfast and dinner and a la carte dinner. There are rooms facing the sea. Most rooms face the backyard. The staff are friendly, efficient, professional and genuinely happy to assist. The rooms are not large and the bathrooms are quite small. The hotel was recently renovated. Everything you need is there - Nespresso coffee machine, toiletries, beach towels, fan, TV, USB connectors by the bed. Balcony is nice and you have 2 chairs and a table to enjoy. A number of rooms has a view of other hotel rooms balconies. Plenty of restaurants around, also small convenience stores, hair and nail salons and shops. There is a nice walkway that takes you to the Aquarium and further to the more windy beaches.

This is a third time I come to this hotel, and it was great until this summer after renovation. In 2022 it had 4 stars, and now 5 stars. Price has gone up, but hotel has gone from great to worse. After the renovation room comfort is very bad, and from huge closet, now there is a tiny one, where you cannot put anything, and we are supposed to stay 12 days. We are sooooo disappointed and we will never come again. Unbelievable!!!!! Don't go to this hotel.

Property is in a GREAT location. Very nice design i have to believe it was recently updated, in good taste. The draw back is that the cleaning in the room was not up to par with the class of the hotel. It was not a busy time of the year and hair was all over the bathroom and I'm bald

A brand new 5star city hotel rose after complete renovation in the heart of the city! Spacious rooms...absolute and unxompareable staff. Smiley faces ..and breakfast full of delicasies!!Beds and maitresses perfect!!!Bath amenities among the best and cleaning service ..the best!!!We thank you once more Cambourakis Group!!! Keep on going the perfect hospitality!!

Our flight was cancelled and we were put there by our airline, the staff knew we were exhausted and did everything they could to make us feel relaxed. The breakfast was exceptional as was the lunch and the waiter even made something to cater for our diet requirements. Thank you for looking after us! I. Terms of practicality the hotel is opposite a beach with lots of attractions nearby, but the pool is smaller compared to a resort. The rooms are huge and very nice well kept and very clean.
