We stayed at Deans Bush Motel last year and returned again this year when we arrived and departed from Christchurch airport. It is so convenient and the accommodation and friendly welcome is much appreciated after a 30 hour flight from the UK. The rooms are spotless, there are plenty of places nearby to buy food and we enjoyed a comfortable and quiet nights sleep. Hagley Park and the botanic gardens are in walking distance and do have a walk to explore the actual Deans Bush. We will certainly stay here again if we fly into Christchurch

I used to stay here as a child with my family so decided to stay again, the owner was more than accommodating and amazing service. Would definitely book here each time we visit again, have also recommended to family and friends when they stay!

Great motel to stay at. Best location - directly opposite Westfield Mall on Riccarton Road. Have stayed there many times. Very friendly and helpful owner - he goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable.

Great bedding, in suite kitchen had every thing needed. Room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Has a Eurasian feeling with the in shower water heater. Not something you see in US accommodation. The location was amazing, would stay again. On air laundry worked as well, with a nice hot dryer. I was worried I’d need to dry twice, but the first payment had my clothes very dry.

We stayed here when we arrived in Christchurch from the UK and it was so convenient and good, that we booked again for our return flight. The motel has easy access from the airport, plenty of free, on-site parking and checking in was really easy. The room was spotlessly clean and the service was 1st class. There are convenient food options just across the road. We did the short walk to the actual Deans Bush which was suggested in the useful information folder provided in the rooms and this is recommended. We will certainly stay at Deans Bush Motel again on our next trip to NZ.

We always stay here when visiting Christchurch.Location is great with mall and supermarket across road and bar/resturants in walking distance.Clean motel with comfortable bed and good shower. Host is always very friendly.

Perfect location with convenience of Westfield Shopping Centre directly across the road.

This is a very conveniently located motel with friendly proprietors - a short walk to Deans Bush and directly opposite a supermarket and Riccarton Mall. The wifi was good and the rooms were well laid out and the heating adequate for the cold weather. We had a comfortable stay here

Our first night was in an upstairs room, person on reception kindly carried our luggage up the stairs for us. Next four days we had a downstairs room which was perfect for us. Room quite roomy with two easy chairs, cooking facilities. Huge kingsize bed, very comfortable to sleep in. Shower good with plenty of hot water. Tea/coffee selection replaced each day, very good selection. We were loaned a drying rack so we could place our washing on it rather than using the dryers in laundry. Very pleasant folk in reception and most helpful plus their delightful young daughter. If we are back in Christchurch this is the motel we will choose to stay in with bus stops close by and Mall across the road and gorgeous Riccarton House within walking distance with a market on a Saturday.
