Hotels in Riga City Center, Riga

1. The room was converted from an old building, and the space was fantastic! It was about 3.1 meters wide, very spacious, practically luxury level. The bathroom facilities were good. 2. The location was excellent, right next to the central square of Riga Cathedral, and another exit was 200 meters from the river. Convenient for getting anywhere in the old town. 3. The apartment-style kitchen was fully equipped, so we cooked our own breakfast and dinner for two days. 4. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant and doesn't provide breakfast. 5. A major criticism is that there was no hot water on the second night, and it hadn't been restored this morning. This must be pointed out. The hotel must guarantee a hot water supply and shouldn't have any malfunctions. If there is a malfunction, it should be resolved immediately; it's unreasonable to have no hot water the next morning! Because we were going to catch a bus at noon, we didn't contact the hotel. I washed my hair yesterday morning and didn't shower last night, so I had no idea there was no hot water last night; otherwise, I would have contacted them then. (This morning, when I was washing up, my wife told me there was no hot water last night.) 6. There was no free bottled water each day; only one bottle was provided on the day of check-in. This makes no sense for a room rate of over 1400 RMB per day.

Everything is perfect! The location is close to everything, and the famous Lido restaurant is just a minute away. There is a park right in front, and the hotel was easy to find! It is clean, and they do a great job with the cleaning!

An extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . . Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available. The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was. Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.

The hotel is very close to the old city attractions, the breakfast food selection is diversified, the reception staff is polite and kind, the room decoration is distinctive, it is recommended.

Great location around 15 minute walk from the old city and tucked away in a quiet area off a main road. Along with my final booking details, the hosts provided me with excellent details including videos for how to access the property by myself. I somehow managed to lose this email when I arrived and the hosts were extremely prompt in helping me out. The apartment is cosy and ideal for solo travellers or couples. The kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. For cooking, there's a two ring induction hob, which for my needs this was sufficient. I also noticed a dishwasher and washing maching. The TV is internet enabled, great for Netflix or Youtube streaming channels. Generally I found the hosts to be very helpful. If I'm ever in Riga again I'd be more than happy to stay in the same apartment.

Lovely hotel, clean, off road parking. Friendly staff. Asked for coffee sachets in the room, they never arrived after being promised twice that they would be sent up. Dinner was awful, menus not clear as to what was on offer. Buffett breakfast, lots of choice.

For 41€ I will give 5 stars. Good location, looks new and clean. I would recommend getting a mattress protector or fitted sheet. The sheet keep rolling up and you basically sleep on a plain mattress

Located on the outer part of the old town, Wellton Centrum Hotel is the perfect location for those wanting to explore Riga’s old town. It’s clean and has wonderful facilities. The staff are helpful and can also support with ordering taxis if necessary.
