Gialli Vatican Guesthouse

Strictly speaking, it's not a hotel, it's a B&B. Maybe a three-star hotel in Rome is like this. This point is actually given to the couple who stayed in the hotel together. Fortunately, they were able to check in. It is true that there was no one at the front desk at ten o'clock.

We stayed at this Guest House for 3 days for our holiday in Rome. The only positive aspects are the location which is strategic because opposite is the Ottaviano metro stop and within 600 meters you are in St. Peter's Square. For everything else there aren't many positive things. We don't even know who the owner is, never seen him, only heard by phone upon our arrival to find out where to get the keys to the room and to ask us for the credit card number to charge the total. The room is very very small, not to mention the very small bathroom, without a bidet, the shower with water leaks and a shower head full of limescale and a small sink. The only positive note is the daily change of towels (not a given for a guest house). Poor cleanliness, almost non-existent. Common room available, coffee machine with free pods but dirty cups and teaspoons and a kettle for herbal teas completely covered in limescale. Definitely not recommended, if not for the location.

The welcome was almost non-existent. I had requested a double pillow at the time of booking but unfortunately there was no trace of it in the room. Uncomfortable bed and hardly enough cleaning. I suggest improving the welcome and availability towards customers and specifying the presence of the bidet ONLY in some rooms at the time of booking. Unfortunately it was not nice to discover this detail 4 days before departure. Also the bathroom was really very small, I didn't even know where to put the towels! For the rest, the location of the structure is good, quiet street even in the evening.

Ho alloggiato con la mia compagna in questa splendida Guest House per 4 gg e 3 notti durante il periodo di Ottobre 2024. Comunicazione perfetta col proprietario Francesco (che ringrazio per la pazienza date le mie numerose richieste 😅) mai nessuna sorpresa, camera sempre perfetta e in ordine quando ritornavo in serata, posizione strategica perfetta a pochi passi dal Vaticano e numerosi locali, e a 1 minuto a piedi dalla metro Ottaviano, la più tranquilla metro che abbia frequentato in questi giorni, sia di giorno che di sera super tranquilla. Qualità prezzo per 4gg a Roma perfetto niente da aggiungere se potessi aggiungere più stelle lo farei, super consigliato.
