When we got into the hotel we had to wait for the lift that took about 10 minutes to come down since the reception is one floor up and we had a big bag. We had to wait for the guy to take us to our room assuming it would be upstairs but it was actually in a totally different building which looked more like an apartment building than a hotel. The lift was very small and the light was falling apart. When we finally got into the room and started setting everything up, we realised the bathroom door didn't lock and the double bed was actually two single beds pushed together. We also realised the outlets was pushed in so much into the wall we couldn't even charge our phones and the lamps next to the bed didn't work either. The shower tooled ages to warm up and when we went to ask about the bed and the outlets. They said that all the double beds are like that and when we said that wasn't shown on the pictures and we weren't happy that we are staying at a different building and when we said about the outlets they said they would get the technician in to fix it and 5 minutes when we got into the room. We got the guy that showed us our room and of course he couldn't fix it and when we asked how are we meant to charge our phones he gave us extension cord which didn't get near the bed. Since he couldn't fix it, he said the technician had gone home and the reception closes at 9:00pm so he would come in tomorrow and since we were out the whole day we didn't realise they didn't fix it until our third day there and they also said they were full until our third day there so we couldn't be moved to another room. The receptionists were liars and when asked how it was our stay and we told us how bad it was they didn't know what to say. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

The pictures you see are in a different building down the road and not where u will be staying! There are no double beds in the hotel they are all two singles pushed together with a gap in the middle extremely uncomfortable and dishonest this hotel is a SCAM! Plug sockets didn't work, neither did the bathroom door lock and the shower would take 10 minutes till it heated up to barely warm. This place is unbelievably run down and disappointing I have recently traveled to Portugal,Spain, Amsterdam, Wales and France and this was the worst hotel I have stayed in so far. DO NOT STAY HERE! AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!

Booked this hotel to celebrate my 60th Birthday, bad mistake. Think twice before booking, location is great but what should have been a fabulous few days in Rome was ruined by our stay at this hotel. V bad communication, charging credit card before arrival and unhelpful staff. Wont share the details of our unpleasant stay as was forced to sign an agreement not to write bad review in order to obtain 20% discount on 1st night stay before being moved to hotel. Told them I would write an honest review. Would I recommend this hotel, NO!! The only redeeming thing I can say about this hotel is Claudia on reception does her best for you. If you don't care about your holiday, then go ahead and book, personally I think life is too precious to waste time in bad hotels. What should have been a fantastic experienced was ruined by this hotel stay.

After reading the reviews I did not have high expectations. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady at reception. The rooms are dated but clean. The location is very good and the shuttle bus to and from the airport is only 8euro each. We did not use the public transport for the whole weekend as everywhere was within walking distance to the hotel. For value for money, I would recommend if you are looking for a hotel in a good location and are not bothered about having an on site bar and restaurant. I would return.

I have never experienced such a bad experience in my life. first of all, when I arrived after a long trip, I was told that they had to cancel my reservation and that they had informed me about it in the morning at 9 am by sending an email. I was on the plane at that time. Since I was traveling, I did not check my email. And I was calm because the day before I received a booking confirmation email. They said that due to maintenance, they don't have a room for us. When they started looking for another hotel, they stayed , that the price was very different and we had to cover the difference ourselves. While we were trying to figure out who should cover the expenses, a couple came to the reception , who did not want to stay in the hotel and canceled their room. So we were lucky to get a room for the night, which we had to leave in the next morning, as other staff member told us it was over booking .They didn't have a room all day Saturday, we were just told to leave all our bags and wait for their messages. I was not contacted until 7 pm, until I wrote to them myself. we got a room in another building, we went there and got a room in which the light in the bathroom did not work, later I noticed that my blazer is missing , it was simply lost, I informed them, so far I have not recovered it. I will never go back there and I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

It was very funny stay. I booked this hotel for 6 days and I did not have water in the shower not even for one day! I talked to receptionist but it did not help. No water in the shower, no shower at all. And one more - they close the hotel for the night time, pull down the metal blinds to the ground. I came back to the hotel in the evening and did not find my hotel, I just walked past. Did not see the hotel at all. It was quite scary.

I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights in early August. Miserable receptionist but a lovely man walked us to our room. We were put in the other building down the road on the 4th floor. If you are claustrophobic you would definitely want to avoid the tiny, thin, very old lift and have to brave the steps (112 in total!) in unbearable heat as the stairwell is not air conditioned. My friend used the lift and it would not open at the bottom so she had to go up a floor to exit. Hopefully this will get fixed but not sure they understood us at Reception. Had real issues getting into the room with the key each time and had to call for help a few times. The room was OK at best. It was a fair size but the bathroom was dated and the toilet was dirty. Only had one working plug in the room. All very dated and no frills. Shower not as small as I expected (reading other reviews). Plus points: Quiet as we were so high up so no road noise. The room had a kettle and a decent selection of teas and coffees and the mini bar was a good size. The wifi was good and the air con was good in the room. Good location about 20 mins walk from the Vatican and 15 mins from Spanish Steps.
