Hotel Montecarlo Hotels in Rome

Hotel Montecarlo

"the hotel receptionist asked if I have bought tickets to colosseo, then I answered yes but not buying tickets for kids as I was told by my ticket agent that kid under 18 is free for entry. However, she told me it is not true and I need to buy ticket for kid under 18. I then bought through her. However the next day we checked with the staff at the entrance of colosseo, the staff told me my understanding is actually correct. When I came back to hotel and asked for refund, then they also ddint know why kid under is free to entry and asked their ticket agents for explanation. The next day she mentioned she got the explanation that the kid ticket she was selling is actually for skipping the queue. However she did not tell this information at the first place and misinterpreted to me so we lost around 42 Eur for actually free tickets. We cannot use the priority kid tickets as we have already bought the normal adult tickets instead."

The Cross Hotel Hotels in Rome

The Cross Hotel

"About an 8-minute walk to the nearest metro. The surrounding area isn’t very pleasant—quite dirty, with views of homeless individuals from the window. The lobby and room were overly strongly scented, and the noise insulation was poor; I could clearly hear neighbours closing their doors—the sound was so loud and close that it felt like someone was opening my own door—along with traffic noise from outside."

"The hotel is relatively new, even better than other five-star hotels in the area. The service is good too. There's a convenience store right next door, and an Asian supermarket about a 7-8 minute walk away, which is quite friendly for Chinese guests as you can buy instant noodles there."

Hotel Moscatello ★★
"The hotel is in a very good location. The service was excellent and very friendly, and the gentleman explained everything very well in English. The conditions were just what we expected: no unnecessary luxury, but a refrigerator, a safe, a bathroom with a shower, wonderful air conditioning, and a large, comfortable bed. I recommend it and we will definitely return. There are many restaurants nearby serving delicious food."

"The location is just two minutes from the train station. It was so convenient. The lady at the reception was so nice and allowed early check in without additional fees, because my room was ready. I was so lucky to be able to leave backpack in the room. I would recommend this place for combination of location and price. I am definitely going to book it again next time when I am in Rome"
