The stay was absolutely lovely! We got married that night and could only check in at 1AM, but we still received a very friendly welcome and a few complimentary items in our room to wish us congratulations. The lawns and gardens were immaculate and so we'll maintained. The breakfast buffet was one of my best buffets I have had the pleasure of enjoying. A wide variety of food to chose from, even champagne and oysters! Superb service. Even though pit stay was short, it was very sweet! We will definitely be visiting again.

The place was stunning and was incredibly relaxing and just great overall. I would recommend the shower/bathroom area be thoroughly cleaned to remove old dirt marks as well as mould. The outside areas/stoop were being cleaned with dirty water. Water should be thrown out after each room/area is cleaned to ensure the dirty water is not just spread and floors wet to seem "clean". Overall staff and everything else was impeccable.

If you don't know what to do with your money and you want something a little different, give this place a bash. Food is top notch. You'll feel like you're in the Western Cape a bit too. Shower a little tricky to get right. Other than that accommodations were good. Beautiful gardens.

Very tranquil place for business or pleasure. Pools are sparkly and the staff are all professional and helpful. Food is out of this world and the 'cigar lounge' still has shelved books for reading pleasure. The best is the spa, tucked away - fantastic wine resort :)

We only visited the Kingsley restaurant. It was the worst dining experience we had in a while. The tables were still dirty from the previous night when we got there. Our waiter was very unprofessional and did not know the menu at all. Our food was horrible with no taste. The prices are so expensive for very distasteful food. I will never return here again.

We were looking for a luxury hotel where we could soend the weekend conveniently in the city and yet have a relaxed out of town feel. We got it! This is a lovely hotel, hands down. It looks and feels like you are somewhere in tge Western Cape Winelands. The food was divine. We sampled all the restaurants including the pool bar. Their meals are very tasty. The grounds and tge garden was without a doubt my highlight. The trees are mature and the lawn a thing of beauty. The bedroom is spacious even for two adults with 2 children and the bed is comfortable. The pool experience was the best for my kids owing to the clever dedign of the depth of the pools - neither shallow nor too deep. There are two things the hotel has to resolve: The staff don't greet guests. They just walk past you and they do not even look at you. It's as if you don't exist at all. I was shocked! That is not to be cinfused though with their ability to deliver service. They do. And that 8s the main thing. But try to be nice. It makes a guest's day and adds to a guest's pleasant experience. Greet please. The second thing is the rooms need tv package upgrade. A guest must have 24hr access to premier news channels at least one local such as enca, Newsroom or SABC 404 and one international like CNN, Al jazeera or BBC. otherwise this is a hotel we will happily return to without a doubt.

The establishment is aesthetically pleasing ( Dutch architecture winelands vibes), and grounds are well maintained. The two ladies at the entrance weee professional and made us feel welcome. Dinner was good and our waitress Mfundo attentive. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. The star is the gorgeous pool and spa facilities, massages and heated pool which get a 5 star 🌟.

Had to stay at the hotel because I’m a diplomat at the Brazilian Embassy in Pretoria and had to attend a BRICS event there. They’re clearly not prepared to deal with international conferences. Getting in the hotel and specially out of the hotel will make you feel like you’re a criminal. Had a massive discussion with the security guy when he demanded to check my diplomatic vehicle (did anyone ever hear about the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations?). No one seemed to care about diplomatic immunity and I felt extremely offended. Worst part was to wonder if this is really their protocol or if this kind of behavior was racially motivated, since diplomats from other countries didn’t report any problems. Will make sure to have them blacklisted by the Brazilian Embassy. Truly a shame.

From smooth and quick check in to superb dining this property is a real gem. My husband and I needed some time alone from the kids yet we didn’t want to go too far from home. This was the best choice . The rooms are specious and beautiful. The welcome eclairs were soft and fresh, I told myself I would eat them after dinner but once I tasted I could not stop myself. From walking into the restaurant, the management was present and attentive. Our waiter Nthabiseng is such a gem, she is definitely upholding the image of the property well. Big ups on the chairs in the restaurant. I was relaxed I finished a bottle of wine alone 🙂🫢 Food was amazing from the beef medallions to lamb curry and finishing off with a sticky toffee pudding , I also added falafels… let me say it was a trip to flavour land. Thank you so much will definitely come back with the kids soon.
