Invergarry Hotel

My husband and I stopped here for a 4 night highland break for our silver wedding anniversary. What a lovely little place, everything was perfect from the Prosecco on ice waiting in our room on arrival, our room was fab with a huge comfy bed. The staff are super friendly and nothing was too much trouble when I kept changing my mind on evening meal booking times. Food, although a little limited was lovely and freshly cooked, and I am now a black pudding convert after never eating it before to trying it in their full cooked Scottish breakfast, yum ! Will definitely stay here again if travelling the highlands. Mr & Mrs Taylor

Cancellation, If you have booked with the Invergarry Hotel please remember to read the terms and conditions very carefully. If something unforseen happens that you have to cancel your accommodation you will not only lose your deposit but the full price of your stay If not done within the 14 days prior to your stay. We lost almost £1000 because so much was going on we forgot about the 14 days. Talk about being robbed over 3 days, you would have thought the deposit would have been enough for them but No, they took the whole lot.

We were very fortunate to have stayed at the Invergarry Hotel. A great experience from the moment we booked until the moment we checked out. Staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, well equipped with a very pretty view. We booked half board which we found to be of good value. The food and service at dinner and for breakfast was very good and offered lots of choices. I highly recommend the Invergarry Hotel.

Really nice room with a strange shaped bathroom but an amazing shower. Top marks for the Tunnocks on the tea tray. This needs to become standard in all hotels. We ate in the restaurant and had a really nice 2 course meal only slight criticism is that the choices were fairly standard fare, fish and chips, burgers etc.. however the rhubarb tart gets them to the five stars. Breakfast was great but a bit odd with a starter and a main?? Hats off to the super friendly and attentive staff this place deserves your visit.

Booked a weekend with wife at invergarry hotel, the room we were in, you had to duck to walk through the door, the TV was so small that I needed driving glasses to watch the limited channels. scooby doo or Gavin and Stacey was all we could see. I also had too kneel on the floor to make coffee as the cable wasnt long enough on the kettle. beware the huge pot hole on entrance to the car park, food was fine but beware, we where charged £70 cut down to £35 for q breakfast I slept in for. so much for highland hospitality in a 4 star hotel!! We stayed at the Invergarry whilst hillwalking in the area. An excellent hotel, well situated for Glen Garry walking. Excellent, friendly staff (Paul, Ruaridh and Maurice couldn’t do enough for us). We had aomfortable, quiet, spacious room and a delicious breakfast using local produce. I recommend you go home with some of their home-made shortbread too!

Review of Hotel: room clean, friendly staff, and one heck of an awesome breakfast. Breakfast was the best part of staying here. There were items to choice from the menu that were all cooked to your desire. Plenty of coffee and tea provided. Review of restaurant: Book a spot! Our first night we had a reservation. The restaurant was full. I had for dinner, a “hamburger” which for Americans was more like meatloaf on a bun. It was a very interesting sandwich, I am glad I tried it but really was not my thing. However, my husband thought it was delicious. My husband had the fried haddock which was perfectly cooked. The bartender came over and helped my husband select and try various Scottish Whiskey. Our second night, we did not have a reservation and I believe they let us have a table in the packed room was because the bartender gave us the thumbs up along with the fact we were guests of the hotel (this is why it is important to have a reservation goodness know what could have happened during the business summer). Second night, I obtained the Haddock and it was wonderful! My husband had for an appetizer the wild local mushrooms which he loved along with the Haddock again! He also, enjoyed the selection of local beers. We would return…and the food was Great. We stayed a few nights and ate twice in the restaurant. The hotel is in the midst of many attractions and within close distance to Inverness. We did travel to the Isle of Skye from the Hotel one day…which I do not recommend as you loss to much with time traveling and while the isle of Skye is lovely we did not have a lot to time to explore and I felt our time would have been better serviced going to the Isle of Mull instead from the hotel. Yes, we would return!

Just a fantastic find! Such a quaint and cozy hotel in a very quiet and beautiful area. The staff was very friendly throughout our entire stay. The room was spacious, clean and had everything needed. The restaurant and bar was very good with plenty of selections to choose from. I definitely recommend the Invergarry Hotel.

My regular stop-over on my to and from Skye. Friendly helpful staff. Great food in the restaurant and a good selection of Malts. Breakfast was very good too. I usually stay in a single room, which for me is perfect for an overnight stay. Nice to see the same faces too. Looking forward to staying again in Spring 2024.
