Very disappointing. Room was functional but v dated (bad 1980s) low quality decor e.g flimsy black wardrobe with no doors. Also, i disliked the fact they charge extra for coffee in the room and would not give me any milk for tea in the morning. On the positives, the bathroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. V basic and unluxurious for the price.

Beautiful small hotel , very nice room and good restaurant. restaurant staff were very good especially the lady manager. The reception staff were awful , no smile , no welcome , no information about the hotel. The lady that we checked in and out with seemed to take offence in any thing we asked. The guy was better , but when my wife sliced her finger on the room fridge door , I ran down to ask for a plaster , I was told after 10 minutes that there are no plasters in the hotel (strange with 3 working restaurants) and I had to drive to get some . This hotel could be a hidden gem , but customer service needs approving .

Very beautiful and quiet hotel in a beautiful castle in Vendée. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly, the breakfast and dinner are very good. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in this area. The restaurant is very good for dinner.

We stayed in one of the converted courtyard rooms which were excellent quality with a very modern touch, very satisfied and would visit again

Proposé quelques jours du Jeudi soir au Dimanche midi , le restaurant gastronomique "La Closerie " est digne des meilleurs tables pour la qualité des mets proposés par le talentueux Chef de cuisine Nicolas Pasquier, son service attentionné , sa cave de plus de 500 références et l'excellent rapport qualité/prix ! Reservation Indispensable !

Le Château de la Barbiniere constitue une étape de charme à proximité de St Laurent sur Sèvre. Nous y avons occupé dans l'une de ses dépendances une chambre digne des 4 étoiles de cet établissement. Nous y avons passé une très bonne nuit et il est important de souligner la qualité de la literie. La salle de bain attenante est bien aménagée même si la baignoire mériterait un antidérapant pour les personnes âgées.

Bonjour nous avons été au restaurant de la barbiniere manger le samedi 24 février pour 20h15 .Le personnel est très accueillant .Les patron sont agréables aussi nous avons très bien dîner le menu étais très affinée la présentation des assiettes étais super .Très beau site de nuit .Malheureusement on a pas vu de jour .Tous le personnel se donne a cœur pour réussir. Les tarifs sont resonable .Nous avons été deux fois dans les deux salles et nous avons très bien dîner. On recommande au gens qui veulent y allez

Très bon accueil professionnel. Chambre et salle de bain très agréables, fonctionnelles et aménagées avec goût. Table excellente qui mériterait plus de reconnaissance de certains guides ! Très belle étape avant notre séjour au Puy du Fou !

posto rilassante immerso nel nulla, ottimo per chi viaggia per lavoro. le camere sono pulite, il personale gentile. è necessario avere l'auto perchè nei dintorni c'è un paese ma non raggiungibile a piedi. la colazione è buona, non abbondantissima, ma nella norma
