The view of the pool and the night view are very nice. The breakfast was good. Most of all, the pool on the second floor was private and nice

Hi We just completed our 3 night stay at The Villa (2 bedroom) - Aesthesis Boutique Villas in Fira Mid May 2023 Just letting you know our stay was a bit disappointing considering the large amount of $$$ we paid - $1800 AUD per night. Considering the below:- Bottom Room * strong smell of chlorine gave me a sore throat - which went through the below room & level * indoor heated pool barely heated * blind was missing - no privacy & protection from the sun * air con not working sufficiently making the room too hot to stay in & smell unbearable. Top Outdoor Area * 1 of the outdoor spas upstairs empty because it was broken * the one that was operational/heated the water air jets were not working at all WHOLE HOUSE * no hot water for 24hrs - the day before departure. We called Hillary who advised us she sent a technician while we were out to dinner - couldn’t shower before we left Then arrived home - still no hot water Woke up next morning of departure - still no hot water We appreciate they put us (1 couple) in another villa but this was inevitable, because the chlorine smell was over powering & room was too hot with no blind/ curtain on our bedroom (No privacy)and the air con wasn’t working sufficiently. We paid large $$$ to have THE VILLA with a view & indoor heated pool and 2 outdoor heated plunge pools etc ,we expected that all facilities advertised with the villa would be fully operational & they definitely were not. Staff & host were great considering.

The villas look nice from the outside and they have a great view (well I think almost every hotel in Santorini has a nice view). But we can definitely not recommend the hotel because of various reasons: - the pool temperature was like cooking water. Only after complaining they told us that they can make cooler if we need it cooler. In the evening they then told us that it is broken and will be repaired (okay it happened the next day but we also wanted to spend time in the pool the first day) - the pool has very much chloride. In this amount it is definitely unhealthy for your skin and hair (I am a medical doctor). You even can see the green-yellowish color in the water. Despite your health it will also ruin your bathing suites. - the security box is broken. They know about this but it seems they don’t plan to repair…. - one of the lights is broken. If you use this light switch, all of the electricity goes out (would be nice to know in advance, but they will only tell you wenn it happens and you ask what’s the problem…) - the TV doesn’t work, there even isn’t a fitting cable. They lay the cable close to the TV seeming like it would work. You will only realize when you try to use it. - every Transport organized by the hotel is at minimum 20 minutes late. They will always tell you it is because of traffic jam (even if you don’t see any…). The funny thing: when you organize a transport by yourself they are always on time. - The same problem with the punctuality applies to the breakfast. You can decide the time but it’s not working. One time they bring it 30 minutes earlier and then another time 20 minutes later then the time you chose. After complaining for the pool they apologized and they offered us an “upgrade” for the next day to another Villa. But this Villa doesn’t have a view, so there would be absolutely no reason…
