Our first room smelled strongly of pot, and then window had been left open. Glad I found it first because it literally folded out, it doesn’t slide and my children could have gone out of it. The hotel graciously gave us a new room, except this one was infested with cockroaches.
It was 11pm and I have 3 small children so we all slept in the bedroom of the suite because the roaches were in the kitchen area.
In the morning I told front desk staff in a very nice way and all they could do was stare at me and say nothing. I never requested a refund, we did stay the night. But I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The exterior of the building is like” small condos apartment complex “ , it was very hard to find the apt / suite number. There are no written signs. It does look a little shabby from outside but it’s pretty good from inside. Good spacious place. It was clean. No complaints, it’s a decent place.

The location of the hotel was awesome close to everything. When we checked in the front desk person was awesome. With a lot of suggestions on where to eat. Breakfast was nice. Not huge but enough to start your day. The rooms are very big. Ours had a little kitchenette with a king size bed. I would highly recommend staying there.

Homewood Suites Schaumburg is amazing! The atmosphere, the cleanliness of the property, the service from the staff… excellent! Only thing I wish were better was the sofa bed… quite uncomfortable but beyond that, the suite was nice and comfortable.

I didn’t like the fact that it was an outside pool and no indoor but overall stay was great! My family enjoyed themselves.

My grandson & I were in town to attend Midieval Times for his birthday. We enjoyed our stay overall (although I did not realize I booked a place with an outdoor pool until it was too late to cancel). Room was clean & set up nicely. Staff was friendly on the occasions we had to interact

The service was impeccable. My primary complaint is that the property is divided into separate buildings. If you want breakfast or to go to the gym, you have to get dressed to go OUTSIDE in the cold and the dark to walk to the main lodge. It's very inconvenient.
