The First70 Hotel

First impression of the staff was poor. They seem to have an affliction and negativity towards Chinese clients. Attitude was poor. English was sup-par. Do use translation app to communicate with them as they seem to not understand basic English. Make up room every other day. Car park is worst! Had the worst experience trying to find a parking lot as it’s all fully parked at night. Do use the public parking near the hotel and they will pay you in cash up to 5000 Korean won. Convenience staff within the hotel premises which was convenient for last min supper/snack/night cap. Room is spacious for a family but do put stuff around the door to prevent break in (just in case for personal safety). Aside from the negative attitude from the staff, room was okay and spacious.

Saw a few mosquitoes in the room and 2nd night saw a small cockroach in the bathroom. Location is ok, nearby has many restaurants. Big beds andGood view too.

This hotel was really near with Seogwipo Olle Market and there is Kyochon nearby. Also, there is 24-hour GS25 on the lobby level, laundry area, and also you can find a small souvenir corner that selling aesthetics things. Unfortunately there is no bidet in the toilet.

Convenient location with lots of restaurants nearby and walking distance to Ollie Market and short distance to attractions. Spacious and cosy room with a good view.

Perfect location Staff is kind Breakfast is good

Slightly old hotel. Unfriendly and rude female staff when we asked for extra pillows and floor towel for the bathroom. She answered with "sorry I do not speak English" with a visibly annoyed face. We asked for extra floor towels as the bathroom drainage was horrible. The entire floor was wet after showering and the towel was soaked. We even slipped a couple of times in the room and almost fell.

We were disappointed with the cleanness of the room. There were so many mosquitoes which caused us to get bitten. When we informed the staff, we were given insect repellant which didn’t work. The beds were uncomfortable and the shower curtain were yellowish and stained. The towels smelled 😞

Not sure was it the mosquito net or bed bugs. After staying at this location , both my wife and I had a lot of bites in our legs and arms After contacting the hotel, they are not willing to acknowledge this as well. Please do take note if you have kids that are staying at this hotel.
