Mondrian Seoul Itaewon

This is the second time staying at this hotel. We really enjoy the room, the facilities and the good service provided by the staff. Definitely recommended

The hotel is big and beautiful, full of services and a great taste in design. However, there’s too little staff compared to the space and the guests. Check-in line is very long, the waiting for your luggage to be delivered and picked up is longer than the average. Also, they do not provide a room where guests that check out could get changed/shower before going to the airport. Rooms are a little narrow and the bathroom not specially comfortable. The rooftop though is amazing :)

your hotel is really beautiful from outside and also the first floor is really nice, the room are small but really well isolated. I slept really good. It was a problem. Someone left some underwear in the bathroom. I called it in the morning and then clean it during the service time.， it is pricey but feel better than the same solution solutions in price in other areas

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We had to move out of our original room because the shower wasn’t draining and the heater wasn’t working, leaving us freezing at night. Almost all the sockets in the room were non functional, also when I tried to open the wardrobe, the door fell off luckily no one was hurt. After raising our concerns, we were moved to another room and offered two drink vouchers. Unfortunately, the new room wasn’t much better. the shower was fine, the heater was broken, sockets were faulty, and overall cleanliness was poor. The housekeeper cleaned the room a few times but never changed the bed sheets throughout our long stay. I chose this hotel for the swimming pool only to find out after checking in that it wouldn’t open until May. That should have been clearly mentioned before booking. For a hotel that claims to be 5-star, this was a huge letdown. I wouldn’t even rate it 2 stars. There are much better hotels with fewer stars that offer far superior service and comfort. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Love everything about Mondrian. Room was great, breakfast was good enough, favourite part was the gym!

Generally Mondrian is a good hotel. However, the location of the hotel seems to be a problem for taxi and uber. It takes longer than expected to get a ride. If you are planning to attend appointment, I suggest that you allow some extra time to book a taxi or uber. My previous experience in other hotel in Seoul was not like what I have experienced in Mondrian.
