Only 5 mins away from the Airport, very convenient.
The staff is very friendly and nice.
the air conditioning looks a little bit dated (no temperature control). The breakfast selection is a bit limited.
Still, the bed and the room is very comfortable in general, and I have a good sleep.

The location was excellent for the purpose of my trip. It’s located very close to the line 10 metro and Hongqiao Terminal 1.
The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly, although most did not speak English.

It's just hotel for one night if you arrived late or need to take early flight in the morning... so so

The hotel service doesn’t speak English.. room was old . But the location in near airport 5 min walk .

We stayed in the Argyle for one night in transit to Hangzhou. The hotel is about 300 meters walking from Shanghai Hongqiao Terminal One and the Metro line 10 is right next to the airport entrance. The reception staff are friendly and can speak English or use translators to help you. They booked us a taxi to Shanghai Hongqiao High Speed Railway station which is about 12 minutes in a taxi or Didi in low peak traffic and I paid the taxi driver on WeChat. The room was clean and beds were soft. It is a good hotel for a quick transit to another city or country via air or rail.

Perfect location near Hongqiao terminal 1. Great value for money. The breakfast can improve but everything else was great.

If you're flying in or out of Hongqiao Airport terminal 1, this location can not be beat!! Only a 5 minute walk from the terminal building!!

Really convenient to Hongqiao Airport (literally a 5 min walk). Efficient and friendly staff who spoke English and seemed to be accustomed to foreign travellers.

Hotel with clean rooms in walking distance to Terminal 1 Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. Shuttle bus to terminal 2 (about 15 min. drive). Helpful staff.

The hotel is a little outdated but served its purpose - close to the airport and had a shuttle bus!
