Shangri-La Banshan Tanye Manor

Whatever everyone said about the charming owner is true! Haha! But this place you will have to see it to believe it. It is situated on hillside instead of low plain, so the owner will likely be the one who will pick you up and fetch you out after checkout. The room we stayed in has just enough space for two and really cozy, properly equipped and well designed. What we able to capture here is the fresh air, the funny animals, the view and the calmness during the stay. We will come back again in the future!

The mid-level mountain location offered stunning views. The service was exceptional, including airport and station pick-up and drop-off. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When I had altitude sickness, a staff member took us to a nearby hospital and stayed with us for two hours during my treatment. The owner also has a cute and adorable golden retriever. Highly recommend for the beautiful location, great service, and amazing staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a very unique and special location up in the mountains. This hotel is a true gem, nestled close to nature and far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and free-roaming goats, the setting is truly Instagram-worthy. Despite its secluded location, it's conveniently close to town with easy transport options available (20 mins by car). Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who exuded energy and friendliness. He shared his plans to further enhance the beauty of the place for guests. The cabins were well-built and equipped with modern amenities like a water heater, heated floors, and were impeccably clean and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was witnessing the golden sunrise over the snow-capped mountains on a clear morning. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. I have no doubt that I will be back again to experience this unique retreat
