I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, where the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking sea views. The rooms are elegantly designed, with tasteful decor and windows that open up to panoramic ocean views. It’s incredibly peaceful—perfect for unwinding while listening to the gentle sound of the waves. The entire atmosphere is serene and relaxing, making it an ideal escape for anyone looking to recharge by the sea.

Thank you to David and Arielle and the staff for a wonderful long weekend at the Haven Hall Hotel. It was just perfect. We stayed in the John Keats room which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The grounds were stunning. We were on the island for our wedding and had the hotel as our base. It was such a welcoming atmosphere, very relaxed and the everybody at the hotel was super helpful. The continental breakfast was exceptional, with homemade treats every morning. It was a very special weekend for us and was made even more perfect by staying in this beautiful hotel.

Clifftop location with sweeping sea views and beautiful grounds. Very comfortable rooms. Superb hospitality. David is an excellent host. If you’re looking for a touch of luxury on the IOW, this is the place to come. Thoroughly recommend.

This place is definitely not a hotel. It is an absolutely lovely guest house, which it calls itself, but for some reason on here it says hotel. The location is beautiful and the house is lovely. There is a serve yourself honesty bar, but when we stayed, there were no lemons for your g&t and no tabasco for the Bloody Mary's. I had to make the drinks then carry them to my parents room then go back for mine. My room was gorgeous, up 2 flights of stairs and had a kitchen so easy for self catering, but only for the able bodied. However, due to my parents being in their 90s, and having mobility issues, they had to have a ground floor room, which was small for 2 people with nowhere to put your bags. Otherwise pleasant enough. Breakfast was just continental, serve yourself. Very disappointing as we all would have loved a cooked breakfast, especially considering the price. The swimming pool was said to be heated, but it was very cold so no one used it, including children, who declared it too cold. Such a shame as it looked gorgeous and a swim would have been great.

We stayed at Haven Hall to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by David and given a tour of the hotel and lots of information which was so helpful. The gardens were beautiful and the views stunning. Our room was spacious and decorated with such attention to detail - everything had been thought of including toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was excellent. A continental style with so much choice - including smoked salmon and cream cheese, croissants, fresh fruit salad and yogurt. The pool was warm and the area very clean and tidy and I enjoyed swimming some lengths before relaxing. The hotel was immaculate and welcoming. As a couple we really enjoyed our stay and it made our wedding anniversary very special.

Staying at Haven Hall really is a uniquely marvellous experience. You get to enjoy the owners' vision of creating a modern interpretation of a beautiful Edwardian Arts and Crafts house and exceptional gardens and grounds for the entire time of your stay. It is living the dream - someone else's maybe, but totally magnificent even so. The house decor is in keeping with the period, retaining the architecture and Arts and Crafts style but brought right up to date with modern techniques, materials and technology to offer great comfort. The end result is a peaceful and relaxing stay in a spectacular location overlooking the sea. Is it worth the price? Well there is nothing similar to make a comparison and so it all depends on how you value a tranquil and relaxing stay in such a wonderful location. You only get what you pay for and the owners David and Arielle spent a small fortune on creating this vision; it is only to be expected that sharing the end result also comes at a price.
