I absolutely loved this hotel! I was extremely satisfied with everything, from the facilities and the room's layout and style, to the excellent hotel service. The hotel also offered a fantastic array of activities, all thoughtfully scheduled. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden landscaping. This was my first time staying at Kapok, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Its convenient location, coupled with the numerous dining brands in the surrounding Shaoxing Tiandi area, made it even better.

An absolutely fantastic experience!! It truly lives up to its 'designer hotel' reputation; every detail, from the hotel's ambiance to the room amenities, is meticulously thought out, making it incredibly comfortable and absolutely perfect for photos! The front desk attendant was fantastic; because I made a mistake when booking and forgot to reserve a room with breakfast, she thoughtfully offered us a complimentary breakfast buffet. The hotel gym's equipment is top-notch, which really pleased my fitness-enthusiast husband. Next time we visit Shaoxing, we'll definitely book this hotel again! Highly, highly recommended!

Had an excellent stay here, offering incredible value for money. Everything, from the hotel's design and room details to the overall service and activity experience, deserves full marks. The overall design incorporates a charming Southeast Asian (Nanyang) flair, with abundant greenery that creates a very soothing atmosphere. The hotel also showcases numerous artworks for guests to admire. I mentioned my mother's birthday when booking, and they thoughtfully decorated the room and provided a birthday card. The toiletries were Atelier Cologne, with a refreshing scent, and the entire hotel maintained a consistent and delightful grapefruit aroma. I booked the hotel's perfume-making workshop and a Yuejun Nanci performance for my mother, and both experiences were excellent. I must especially commend the hotel's breakfast – it's an absolute must-try! My personal favorite was the semi-buffet style, which allowed for both à la carte orders and a selection of self-service items. The breakfast ambiance was absolutely superb. We were seated in a separate dining room directly facing the central garden, which made the dining experience incredibly delightful. The presentation was also exquisite and thoughtfully arranged, and the taste was excellent. (I've attached the menu for reference.) For friends in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region, this hotel is perfectly suited for a relaxing weekend staycation with family.

My daughter and I came for a relaxing stay at this designer hotel. Its layout, lighting, and decor are certainly very well-designed, boasting a dark, trendy aesthetic that appeals to a younger crowd. The bedding in our room was comfortable, the toiletries were excellent, and the minibar drinks were unique. Turndown service was provided, there were plenty of Instagrammable spots, and the service was great overall. The complimentary afternoon tea and Wupeng boat ride offered by the hotel were both excellent. We also enjoyed a coffee-making workshop – all very unique experiences. The lobby bar had a great ambiance, and the staff service was exceptional. I had a very pleasant time experiencing coffee making, afternoon tea, and cocktails there. However, the evening ritual was too simplistic – just two young girls walking around with lanterns and saying a few words. Sacrificing our evening outing time to watch it was simply not worth it. Now, for the downsides. The hotel lacks privacy; people in the shops across the street in the Shaoxing Tiandi commercial area could easily see into our room, forcing us to keep the curtains drawn. The hotel breakfast was a semi-buffet. The quality was very ordinary and didn't match the hotel's branding. The three set menus were not high quality, completely falling short when compared to the standards of, say, Hyatt Centric Yixing. The buffet section offered limited and low-quality fruit, comparable to a standard hotel. Even the two winter jujubes I tried weren't particularly fresh. The coffee was good, complete with latte art, and they offered a unique Shaoxing Yellow Wine Latte. However, the Ciwu Noodles were not authentic, and the toppings – preserved vegetables, bamboo shoots, and shredded pork – were not tasty at all. On a positive note for breakfast, the oat cups were well-made, and the roasted pumpkin was delicious. The room wasn't particularly spacious and didn't have a bathtub, which I heard is only available in suites. I'm also unsure if the hotel has a pool. These were the aspects that detracted from the overall experience.

🚅 Shaoxing Family Trip A family trip to Shaoxing during the scorching summer heat! No amount of high temperatures could deter us from having fun, haha! We brought my parents along to experience this newly opened Hyatt hotel. They were thoroughly impressed, from the hotel's exterior design and the comfort of our room to the overall experience. The warm and attentive service from all the staff truly made us feel at home. We had called ahead to let them know we were a family of three, and we were so touched that they not only arranged an extra bed but also provided a complimentary breakfast for one person. The breakfast was a semi-buffet, offering a wonderful selection of local Shaoxing delicacies that we could sample at our leisure. The room was well-equipped with a full set of O'Zone brand amenities, showing great thoughtfulness. My dad particularly enjoyed the Kapok beer and Shaoxing yellow wine found in the mini-fridge.

This is a new hotel, and the rooms and facilities are brand new. It's perfect for taking photos and very Instagrammable. The hygiene is also excellent. The breakfast area is a bit small, and the buffet spread is limited, but they do offer à la carte options. The information in the Ctrip package needs updating, particularly that hotel activities require advance booking. For the traditional 'wupeng' boat, you can simply exchange your voucher for a ticket at the pier and board directly. However, please note that during the summer, it's closed between 12 PM and 1:30 PM.

The hotel service was outstanding, making for a truly enjoyable stay. Despite a few minor issues during check-in, the manager and staff promptly and professionally resolved everything. The cleanliness and facilities were also very good. The hotel's location is fantastic, opening right onto Shaoxing Tiandi, which makes dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Regarding parking, it's advisable to contact the hotel beforehand, as they share parking spaces with the shopping mall, and it can get quite busy, sometimes requiring a wait. Getting a taxi to nearby attractions is also very easy. A thoughtful touch was the steam eye masks provided before bed. Even though it's right next to a shopping mall, the hotel was surprisingly quiet.

My friends and I met up in Shaoxing to visit a mutual friend, and we ended up staying at what's considered the newest and best hotel in town. The hotel boasts an impressive design aesthetic, with high-quality materials used throughout its decor. The overall service level was quite high; the lady at the front desk, in particular, was exceptionally friendly and even offered us a complimentary breakfast. The yellow wine in the mini-bar was especially delicious. On a whim, I asked the front desk if it was possible to get two more bottles, and to my pleasant surprise, they promptly sent them up. The citrus-scented shower gel was incredibly refreshing. Unlike other shower gels that leave a slippery residue, this one rinsed off completely and easily. Feeling a bit cheeky, I then asked the front desk if I could possibly take a bottle home with me, and once again, the hotel generously obliged. By the elevators, there was a stack of 5100 mineral water bottles, a clear sign of the hotel's generosity and the grand style befitting its owner, China Resources, a central state-owned enterprise. Breakfast was a mix of semi-buffet and à la carte options. However, as someone with a 'Wuhan palate' (implying a preference for specific, often bolder, regional flavors), I found the breakfast offerings a bit underwhelming, with the variety of choices being somewhat limited. Overall, despite a minor quibble about breakfast, the hotel is truly excellent!

This hotel opened this year and has a strong design. The public areas are very nice, and I especially enjoyed the lobby bar. The rooms are also very clean and tidy, though there's a slight hint of newly renovated decor upon entering. The hotel has three floors. The upgraded 90-square-meter suite is on the third floor, and there's a gym on the second floor. The room felt very spacious, with a tea room, and the minibar stocked with specialty rice wine and beer, along with fennel beans. The front desk lady was very nice, and the customer service department was very attentive during turndown, providing eye masks and handwritten notes. However, the overall quality of the hotel staff could be improved, and the professionalism of the service was a bit uneven. One issue is that if you drive, you can't take the elevator directly to the reception lobby. You need to take the mall's elevator 5 to the first floor and then walk to the hotel. One ticket for a Wupeng boat trip for two adults and one child: The Wupeng boat terminal is very close to the hotel, making it convenient to board the boat. The price is reasonable, and it's included in the hotel package, which was very nice. [Afternoon Thoughts] Garden Afternoon Tea for Two: The afternoon tea was served in the lobby bar, and the food was quite thoughtful, though the caramel on the pudding was a bit burnt. The hotel is located inside Shaoxing Tiandi Mall, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and taking the kids out. The hotel also provided admission to the Shaoxing Tiandi amusement park and game coins for the arcade, which were enough for a while. I didn't get to try the hotel's own activities. Overall, I highly recommend it.
