"The room was quite spacious. I was given a room on the 3rd floor of Building 2. There was construction nearby, but the soundproofing in the room was excellent, so it didn't really bother me. It's also very close to the back entrance, which made coming and going super convenient. Public transportation was easily accessible too. The hotel's landscaping and garden design are lovely, making it a great spot for photos. The restaurant is right next door, which was very convenient for breakfast, and you can also have other meals there. The prices were decent and quite reasonable. Ordering takeout here was a bit inconvenient. Firstly, there weren't many good restaurants available for delivery. Secondly, delivery drivers could only drop off at the lobby entrance; there were no robots or staff to bring it to the room, so I had to go pick it up myself. Transportation was pretty good. It was easy to call a taxi. Bus stops were about a 400-600 meter walk from the hotel, and there were many bus routes that could take me to almost all the attractions. Just be aware that some bus routes have infrequent service, so you might have to wait a long time for certain buses. For shorter distances, renting an electric scooter would be very convenient."

"Our stay was absolutely perfect! Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, offering beautiful photo opportunities that easily rival popular scenic spots, but with a unique江南 (Jiangnan) style. A special shout-out to Mr. Chen Fu, our shuttle driver. We arrived quite late, around 10 PM, amidst a heavy downpour, and the shuttle service was almost ending. He thoughtfully covered our sleeping child with a towel to prevent them from getting wet. After dropping us off, he walked us to our room, holding an umbrella and even helped with our luggage. Such a small act of kindness truly warmed our hearts. Thumbs up to him! At checkout, Ms. Xiao Xie from the concierge was incredibly attentive, helping us with our luggage to the car and proactively assisting with the checkout process. Big praises for her! Assistant Lobby Manager Mr. Xiao Lü also had a wonderful attitude. We're definitely looking forward to coming back and trying out different room types! Shaoxing is truly beautiful!"

The facilities are comprehensive, and the lobby is spacious, bright, and stylish. Our room was clean and tidy, featuring a French window leading to a balcony with a great view. The bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast was good with a decent variety. They also have a parking lot and EV charging stations, making it very convenient for those driving. We had a pleasant stay! 😀"

"True to its name, Wen Duyuan Hotel truly radiates warmth and hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, and almost all of my requests were handled perfectly. The hotel facilities showed meticulous attention to detail and were spotlessly clean, even small items like charging cables were well-maintained. The clear signage everywhere was a thoughtful touch, and each floor even had a water dispenser and ice machine. Plus, there's a small meeting room, making it an absolute top choice for business travelers. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a lavish selection of seafood that really showed their dedication. Next time I'm in Shaoxing, I'll definitely choose Wen Duyuan again!"

"Highly recommend this family-friendly hotel for anyone traveling to Shaoxing with a baby! My baby was crying in the lobby, and the front desk staff went above and beyond, bringing out a pinwheel and bubbles to cheer her up 🤣. They even helped us switch rooms. The family room had a huge floor-to-ceiling window and a balcony, which our baby absolutely loved. The hotel also has a public play area for kids with a slide, building blocks, and lots of picture books, perfect for young children. Since our baby fell asleep at noon, the front desk graciously extended our check-out until 2 PM, which was incredibly thoughtful. We also received welcome fruit, which was a nice touch! And when we accidentally left our baby's clothes behind, they even mailed them back to us 🤣. We booked a package with breakfast included, and the hotel's breakfast was fantastic for families with kids because of the wide variety. You never know what a picky eater might want for breakfast, so this ensures they'll have a good meal! Super satisfied! Excellent value for money!"

I specifically requested a high-floor room, but they gave me the 6th floor. However, when I went to bed at 11:30, I discovered that the hotel hadn't installed any soundproof windows at all; it seemed to be single-pane glass? The audio-visual experience was exactly the same as listening to the street below—the horns were incessant. Plus, in Shaoxing, cars still honk their horns at 1 or 2 AM! 🥲 The experience was terrible. Because it's a new hotel, the cleanliness, facilities, and space were decent, but the lack of soundproof windows alone is enough to give it a 0/10. What kind of hotel can't even provide a comfortable sleeping environment?! The front desk staff were extremely unprofessional, seemingly untrained. They recorded the wrong room card for the previous guest during check-in, thankfully the other person noticed. Check-in was slow and they seemed unfamiliar with the process."

I didn't even feel the need to explore any nearby attractions; just staying at the guesthouse kept me perfectly content."

"The hotel is in a great location, and the front desk lady is very nice. There was a vacant deluxe twin room, so she helped us change the room type. The room was super large. I specifically praised the front desk Xiao Wang. When we left, he kindly reminded us that Shaoxing North Station was a bit far away, and helped us with our luggage. We had a very pleasant trip to Shaoxing, New Youth Hotel👍."

Parking is also convenient, with several restaurants downstairs."

"We decided to visit Shaoxing on a whim. It was about 15-20 minutes' walk from the hotel to Lu Xun's hometown, which was quite convenient. But the sanitary environment, hardware design and software are all average. The pillowcase was extremely dirty with yellow stains. The smart toilet had some issues, the water kept running in the middle of the night. Although the lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic, the rest of the staff were very average. The price/performance ratio is extremely low, not recommended."
