Authentic vacation stays, food and outdoor experiences in real, rural China at reasonable prices. Wildhomestay is composed of 10 houses in a hill village at the base of Qingliangfeng National Nature Reserve. With 1000m plus hills all around us, we are a remote and well-known adventure escape for the Shanghai and Hangzhou outdoor community. Join one of our cycling, running or hiking challenges or just come over for a chilled weekend in nature. We have over 100 local outdoor routes for different levels and pursuits, a fully equipped bike shed, with over 40 bikes, recovery room and adventure gallery, a cafe serving proper coffee and decent local food and offer a bunch of fun local experiences such as cooking classes, local crafts etc. Get to us by high-speed train or the G56 motorway exit, both 10 minutes away.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days in May, and it was sooo wonderful! So quiet and such a great nature escape. Wonderful food (vegetarian no problem, more than enough options), very kind staff, great room (we had the mosaic room with patio which we loved). Made a few smaller hikes, but there's so much to see and do that we'd love to come back.

Wildhomestay is the perfect hideout for a relaxing weekend or even week. It is specialized for cycling and has a western style kitchen to offer from cappuccino to apple crumble and even ice cream. We love this place and come back every year at least once.
They offer easy pick up service and around the village is a river to dip in and also rice paddies for an easy hike. Additionally they offer workshops at wildhomestay. Check out they wechat and homepage.

We stayed in one of the Mosaic Houses. We are a family of four and the accommodation was simple and functional. The staff were attentive and the food in the restaurant was decent.

Marvellous experience at WHS. Justin and team set the place up so well. Food was great also. And the cycling nearby was world class.

This is my 2nd time staying at the Wildhomestay - it's a simple place, and I love it that way. The room was spotless, clean, and comfortable; the service people were very kind and accommodating; the surroundings are relaxing and nice with lots of hiking options. This time, I met a special friend, a small dog that lives at/around the place; he followed my hiking, and we easily became friends! All in all, if you like nature and simple living, I highly recommend this place.

I went with friends for a cycling weekend. Friday to Monday and I am a regular visitor for some cycling events they are organizing during the year. I really like it, basic but very nice. Don’t expect five star hotel treatment but that is not important. Very friendly staff.

Great home stay.
Rooms were comfy and the town is quiet with lots of beautiful scenery nearby.
At the home stay you can rent bikes to explore.
The food provided was good too, and the staff were helpful. Would recommend.
If arriving by train, call up the homestay to arrange transport as there are no taxis in the area.
