Marriott Executive Apartment Shenzhen North Station (Huilon Center)

Best hotel in shenzhen, trust me if you’re looking for one near the center just choose it. Excellent service, if you have any problems they will be super quick and responsive. 100% recommend it.

This listing is misleading because it’s not even listed on the Marriott website. It’s just an apartment building that’s quite difficult to locate. The front desk is situated in a housekeeping room (!) on the fourth floor. Furthermore, the room wasn’t particularly clean and simply looking tired. The listing should be removed from Trip.com or made very clear that the hotel is not affiliated with Marriott hotels.

everything is good and spacious rooms, but many neighbours smoke and I can smell it in my apartment. Other than that, all is good.

Location is amazing and included amenities are great. Service was also very good. Only issues were that surfaces and bathrooms need a thorough cleaning and for English travellers, this hotel has no affiliation with Marriott, nor is there any Marriott signage, which is confusing for finding and checking in.

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights, and loved every minute of it. Spacious loft room, with an efficient washer and dryer machine and a very generous fridge. Water pressure is just right, and enough hot water for two without running out of hot water. Even though water temperature dipped a little bit, within a few minutes, it was back up and ready for the next person. Supplies were replenished promptly and front desk addressed some of our issues (ie loose door knob and burnt out balcony light) with lightning speed. Although the hotel is close to the train station, it was quiet and we all had a good night’s sleep. Coming back at night after exploring Shenzhen was not a problem at all, we felt safe.

The reception is super nice but the room itself is super dusty. Location is good but if the cleaner can do a better job, then it would be 5/5. I can only say it’s 2/5 given cleanliness is my priority
