Very helpful staff, with free shuttle in morning and afternoon. The room is very clean and gives you a special Japanese stay feel. The only area that can be improved is the osen, there is a smell which you may not like( both private and public)

This place is amazing; the room is very spacious n u basically getting a 1 bedrooom condo size unit; the design n deco is one of its kind; whole resort tatami designed: no shoes for your stay there; staff are nice; food 🍱 is really perfect n sumptuous, will give 2 thumbs up n will return soon: Shirakawa-go is beautiful 😍

overall this resort really for a relaxing holiday and to enjoy the beauty of shirakawa. But due to limited accessibility of transportation, suggest to have more frequency of shuttle service since the location is consider rural . The service of resort need to improve as they are not really go for extra miles. other than that, nice view , great ramen at night and great Onsen.

Great Japanese-style hotel that comes with Onsen facilities, offering both public and private baths. The public baths are separate for men and women. Those who are not planning on having Onsen need to check that the room include a private shower /bathroom. The room with mountain views have great scenery of the mountains, which is spectacular during the autumn seasons. It is advisable to include breakfast and dinner into the hotel booking as there are no restaurants nearby. Breakfast and dinner sets are meticulously prepared. Really is a unique experience and the dishes all taste really fantastic (especially if you like Japanese food). Dinner though, is expensive (8000 yens) if it is not included as part of the room reservation. As each dinner sets need to be prepared individually, guests must decide and informed the receptionist during checking in if they opt to have dinner. There are only 2 timing options available: 5:30pm or 8:00pm. Payment for the dinner is during checkout (if it as added in, and not already pre-paid during room reservation). The receptionist can speak good English and will explain all details during checking in. The only drawback is that the hotel is about 5 minutes (about 2 km) drive from the Shirakawa-go bus center where most tourists will be arriving at. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus to ferry guests from the bus center. The pick-up time is about 3pm. This information is not available in the hotel information. Learned about it when I checked at the tourist information counter at the bus center. The driver will carry a signboard with the name of the hotel, so look out for it. Guests may want to plan around this ferry service when planning their itinerary as transportation options are limited.

This is my favorite place to stay in Japan. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is incredible, and the food was even better. The hot springs are a great way to relax.

All best I’ve ever, best breakfast, best vibe from room and onsen vibe, there have private onsen and public bath, I got ramen at night free and Yakuto in the morning , and other, I’m so impressed very much there

This hotel serves many people from group tours. There is only one reception staff member available to assist with check-ins, and she is handling multiple tours, with over 20 people. The hotel is crowded with people everywhere. The dinner arrangement is poor, and the food is not worth the high price. We were assigned bar table seats, which we found unsatisfactory. Paying 450 US dollars per night is not worth it.

Great location as it was very close to the UNESCO heritage site, Shirakawago. The room was quite new and the nice tatami smell was pretty refreshing. Great onsen. One thing to comment on the food however. Lots of room for improvement given the price tag.

A nice holiday at convenient location for the visit. Both dinner and breakfast are good quality with Japanese service standard.
