Hotel Mimosa

Brilliant week at the Mimosa- unreal value for money. Hotel was clean and staff were super friendly. Had a very chilled vibe to it. Lime typical Greek hotels the rooms were pretty basic but appeared to have had a recent renovation. Fitted with Air Con, safe, balcony, hairdryer etc. As mentioned in other reviews the shower was small but not the end of the world. Sheets and towels arent changed everyday but every othwr- we don't do it at home so not an issue for us. Location is perfect, as you come out of the hotel you have the beach directly in front of you with some lovely beach bars where the loungers are free to all customers. To the right is the "*****" with all the bars (also restaurants) hosting entertainment every evening. Turning left out of the hotel takes you towards Canal D'Amour which is beautiful but along the way is more traditional Greek Taverna's and restaurants. For a young couple wanting both the Greek authenticity but also a bit of nightlife it was perfect for us. The Greek Village is great for the Greek nights (dancing, plate smashing, fire dancing whilst you eat) on a Wednesday and Saturday but you must book! Our other favourite was Mediterraneo- beautiful food! The hotel itself has 2 pools. One at the front which has quicker access to the bar, more social and faces onto the main road. Or a quieter more chilled pool at the back. We mixed between both and loved it. The bar has a wide selection of drinks, alcoholic and not. Mythos on tap, plenty of others by bottle and a variety of cocktails. Iced lattes and frappes were lovely and all refreshing soft drinks including bottled water handy if you're heading out. The whole vibe of the place was so chilled and lovely. The staff couldn't do enough for you and went out of their way to get to know you during your stay. All in all brilliant value for money. Not a place if you expect luxury but for a nice place on budget with a good location the Mimosa is ideal!

Fabulous hotel, fantastic food, comfortable rooms and beds..Really friendly, been 2 Sidari 8 times but first time in Mimosa, always worried it might be noisy but was so wrong..Friendly hotel, great entertainment, 2 pools,plenty of sunbeds and fantastic location..Definitely staying there next time...Staff can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your holiday 😀..

Double room booked we got a room very small with a large bunk bed in the room with 2 single beds Shower so small if my partner dropped his shower gel couldn’t move to pick it up Shower didn’t work for 2 days they said we weren’t using it properly only to find out after a lot of arguing that it was broken It had 2 pools one round the back of the hotel had broken tiles and the area was not very clean

The staff were all so helpful. Lovely pool area with bar and food. A short walk across the road is the beach with a lot of tervernas and you can use their sunbeds all day if you buy a drink or food which is brought to you. Plenty of shopping all within level walking.

we had a great holiday staying at the hotel mimosa in sidari , rooms were good, we had room 704 at the back quite spacious and adequate, the beds are very comfortable , the staff there are very good and polite , breakfast was good , couldn't review evening meal has we were bed and breakfast , the beach was just over the road 2 min , overall we really enjoyed our stay there and will be returning in September 2024

We came for a week my husband is in a wheelchair and this hotel is excellent for wheelchair users the rooms are basic with tv if you only get one channel ask and they will reset it only downfall of the room was it was dark in the room only one light and a few bedside lights beds were comfy to me anyway ! near the door was dark and god forbid your a sizeable person I’m not the slimmest but the toilet was in a corner between the sink and shower cubicle made for some interesting positions! There is a small fridge and a kettle our kettle didn’t click itself off so beware ! The dresser is tbh pointless as soon as you sit down the mirror is above your head! They supply paper cups the soap is useless carbolic soap lathers better than it and the shower gel in the shower was empty toilet rolls are provided the town is as well good for wheelchair use and the beach location to this hotel is amazing! we couldn’t fault the hotel at all really the breakfast was ok h the chips are lush! The staff are the best I’ve ever come across especially Tracey they all speak English there is 2 pools we used the back pool first few days as it was close to our room gradually a few children came left them to have fun in that pool ! we then went to front pool as it was quieter we enjoy just lying round the pool chilling as that’s what it’s all about and it didn’t disappoint !

Just back from a 5 day stay here. Great wee hotel in central location close to beach bars and restaurants. Staff work tirelessly and go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Our room cleaned every day along with fresh towels daily. Good selection of breakfast. Big shoutout to Tracey and Anna such lovely girls who work hard to keep everything running smoothly. Such a relaxing vibe throughout the hotel.

Just back from 11 days at Mimosa. We asked for a quiet room and were give 804 at the back which was at the back and thankfully in the shade as the temperatures were 28 degrees. Grounds are really good, two swimming pools and lots of seating areas. Brilliant location close to beach and bars and restaurants on the *****. Room cleaned every day, towels changed regularly and bedding changed once. Only downside was the shower which tended to leak on to the bathroom floor and go down the drain. Cleaners very friendly but did not speak English. All reception staff were very friendly and helpful only had one problem with sink which was quickly resolved. Breakfast was served between 8.00am and 10.00am and there was ample choice whether you wanted continental or full English and there was plenty of seating outside and inside. Bars in Sidari had started to close down while we were there so would probably recommend going a bit earlier. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will definitely return. Selwyn and Margaret

We booked here for 10 days. I will start by saying the staff are great and really helpful and friendly, my review would of had two stars if it wasn't for this reason. The hotel is a tired and a bit soulless place, our room was at the front, the noise didn't bother us in the slightest from the various bars in close location, the beds were comfy enough and were changed 3 times during our stay. The Aircon unit leaked and was very noisy, our fridge was rubbish and no tea or coffees supplied!! The bathroom was not the best, always a strange smell in there also very hit and miss with the hot water sometimes it would stop altogether, also shower cubicle is tiny, my wife and I are quite slim and we found it a bit of a squeeze, also during our stay the toilet flush broke and stopped working twice, one of these times was after I'd had a , which was very embarrassing, when I told them on reception the pool area is really tired and a bit tatty, we only used the loungers a couple of times, if you go elsewhere in Sidari and buy a drink you get free use of sunloungers and there's lots of idyllic places to choose from. The food was at best average, the breakfast was OK, standard buffet breakfast, the evening meal was very hit and miss, had the weirdest lasagne I've ever had there, yuck!! A couple of the things were not to bad, but we quickly decided we'd eat out, there is loads of great places to choose from, I'd urge anyone to go to The Greek Village opposite for the traditional Greek night, fantastic evening Sidari is beautiful and well definitelybe back, but even though the staff here try really hard, we wouldn't come back here, it would of been a 2 star review if it wasn't for the great staff
