Yet another wonderful stay (we must be in double figures now). Everything in this hotel is just about as good as it gets. The staff are welcoming and efficient, the food is excellent and everything is spotless. The rooms are elegant with very comfortable beds. Can’t wait to return in July!

We had the most lovely afternoon tea for a baby shower. The setting was fantastic, the food was delicious and the service was,as always, amazing. The hotel accommodated several dietary requirements with no fuss. They also supplied lots of extra clotted cream for our scones and plenty of tea!

We stay in this hotel about 3 times a year, usually for 3 or 4 nights. It never changes, always excellent accommodation, food and service. The staff are outstanding and extremely helpful. The service you get is second to none.

drinks prices quite pricy ,good position near prom flat walk to town , very smart and helpful staff ,food excellent with a good choice on the menu, would recommend hotel , a little expensive but the service etc and location is what you are paying for.

One of the best in the South West, no hesitation in booking our 3 night stays. All the staff are well trained. Often Live piano playing on a Saturday night in the main dining room. It's a very well managed hotel. The staff all work hard to make your stay memorable. Well done Belmont

Visited for Devonshire cream teas as a family of three. It’s started off wonderfully by being accused by the grand looking doorman of moving a cone because he had 5 other people to park, heaven forbid a paying guest using the parking? Upon entering there is a wonderful regal lounge bar which would be lovely for Afternoon/Devonshire Tea….. so we were sat in the side lounge which felt like we were sat in the Principality Stadium whilst Italy beat Wales in the Six Nations it was just the vibe I was anticipating when booked. The tea itself was perfectly pleasant despite the ambience of being in the 3rd row of the Principality. Our short stay culminated in being followed down the drive by the doorman with a cone in hand to presumably save the space for one of the 5 guests staying there. All in all not overly impressed.

Nice hotel and staff, quite expensive but having clean rooms, lovely restaurant and friendly service it is worth it. The bar is not cheap and service is a bit sporadic. However the lounge is beautiful with sea views and a lovely place to sit and read.
