It is not on a popular tourist route, so there are not so many people, especially relatively few Chinese guests. The hotel is villa-style, with a sense of vacation, few people, quiet, and super large rooms. The staff are polite and very good in all aspects.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfy. Staff are very kind and friendly. They made sure our family rooms are next to each other. Ruwan from the rest staff was so professional and attentive. The Hotel greenery area overlooking the lake is spectacular. photos of the hotel public areas posted online is not doing enough justice. We had an afternoon and morning walks alongside the lake; it was so relaxing and serene! Food variety at the buffet for all meals is good. however, the a la cart menu is limited.

Lovely hotel- good amenities and excellent breakfast and dinner buffet. Bed comfortable and super shower. Staff are excellent very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Our waiter Ruwan was super helpful and friendly- thank you Ruwan for making our stay so lovely.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our Sri Lanka tour due to its proximity to Sigiriya Rock. I have given 4 stars as parts of the hotel particularly the pool & rooms, are in need of some renovation and modernisation. Staff friendly and helpful but too quick to remove plates etc at meal times. A nice big lobby/bar area and spacious dining room. Dinner is a buffet for those like us on the half board option and very good also breakfast fine. Wine is very pricey so we stuck to Lion Beer. The hotel adjoins a lake which is scenic but be careful of mosquitoes. Rooms are serviced & cleaned daily, just a bit dated, but provided with the usual amenities such as toiletries, a fridge, a safe and tea coffee etc. Beds not as comfortable as our previous Cinammon hotel (Trinco Blu) as bit hard and mattresses thinner but adequate for our short break and very quiet at night. We had a lovely elephant towel art creation left on our bed :) Overall the rooms were more basic but we didn’t spend much time in them just for sleeping really so suitable for a short break/stopover.
