Just a short walk from the bus stop, this gem of a guesthouse is hands down the best place to stay in Sri Lanka. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, always offering help and thoughtful advice. He even arranged for a local tuk-tuk driver at a very reasonable price, ensuring I had the best experience exploring the area. Every afternoon, he would check in and offer a delightful cup of tea, making the stay feel extra special. His wife’s cooking is an absolute highlight—breakfast was not just delicious but prepared with so much care, adding a homely touch to every meal. The room itself was super clean, big, and incredibly comfortable. From start to finish, they both made me feel completely at home. I can say this was the best accommodation I experienced during my time in Sri Lanka, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable and comfortable stay.

The B&B is in the woods, the air is good, and the host is very friendly.

It is a very clean room in this small town, with complete facilities, air conditioning and hot water, and the large bed is comfortable. The boss was very welcoming and prepared welcome juice. The breakfast the next day was also carefully prepared, which was great.

The location is great, just 10 minutes by tuk tuk from Sigiriya Rock.

The owner is also a tour guide and will help you with any questions you may have. Laundry service is also available. The breakfast made by his wife is delicious.

We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. They will also cook a good dinner meal for you. This can be a good option, because we only found one restaurant in town that appealed to us. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after.

Absolutely excellent service, the room was clean, tidy and the air con was lovely and cool. We had dinner, as well as breakfast. Both of which were top notch! There was also a nice area to relax outside. I would stay here again noproblem! Thankyou

This is the best place in Sigiriya! :) we stayed here for two nights and it had been one if our favourite places in Sri Lanka. We loved EVERYTHING about this place. Everyone should come here! Mori our host is the kindest sweetest man. He never stops making sure you are happy. the food (made by his lovely wife) is INCREDIBLE!!! The most wonderful home cooked Sri Lanka food. absolutely delicious and giant portions…they just want to make you happy they’re such a nice family! The bed was very comfortable, cute place with a nice hot shower and the gardens around the place are beautiful. Mori is also an experienced senior guide of 30 years and knows everything about Sigiriya Rock and the area. He can give you a guided tour if you want (doesn’t pressure at all though he’s so nice). we climbed both Sigiriya and Pidurangala with him and it was really worth it! we got so much more out of it that way. The place is an amazing value - Just book it now! you won’t regret it :)

We were there for our Sigiriya visit and check-in was very pleasant one and they welcome us with refreshing welcome drinks. Prasanga and his family is very hospitable people and they always look after our comfort and all the foods are finger licking good, all the food are authentic Sri Lankan flavours and we will never forget the taste.. Hibiscus villa is a modern villa and it's equipped with all the modern fittings and fixtures which made us comfort through our stay. We felt it's like a home away from home and we will hope's to be there again. I would highly recommend Hibiscus villa and thank you Prasanga for your warmth hospitality.....
