Avian Leisure

We were two couple and stayed there for six nights. And I should say that It was unforgettable staying, so cozy and gorgeous apartment, like it very much! The view from terrace and garden with birds were stunning, highly recommend this place!

Avian Leisure provided a spectacular trip to the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Our guide, Martin Benadie, was superb, providing world class knowledge of the birds, animals, and the varied habitats of the Okavango Delta. His ability to smoothly usher a varied group through multiple environments, always with a smile, was nothing short of amazing. The logistics, accomodations, and truly wondersful staff at the Chitabe Lediba, North Island, and Sanctuary Camps were truly perfect. This trip opened a new world for our family, and the sights, sounds, smells, and "feel" of the Okavango will be something we remember for our whole lives. Even after hearing stories about Africa and watching many nature videos, nothing compares to actually visiting a place like Botswana. The feeling of connection with people, plants and animals of the places we visited were awe inspiring to me, and makes me want to do more to make sure they are preserved and protected. Avian Liesure made this all possible.

Lovely, spacious apartment with ocean views from the main bedroom and living room. Very well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and laundry facilities. Ideally located to explore the surrounding area. The hosts were very welcoming and offered good advice about the area. Highly recommended!!

Both the owners, and the accommodation were 1st class. Dealing with the owners, and Avian Leisure, was such a pleasure in every respect. Large lovely bedrooms and open plan lounge/kitchen, with stunning views and a few extra surprises

We were fortunate to finally spend some time in South Africa and particularly enjoyed our time in Simonstown on the Cape Peninsula. We had booked a spacious one bedroom apartment which ticked all the boxes. It was tastefully furnished, well equipped, and had good attention to detail Our hosts had gone to considerable trouble to make sure we had an enjoyable stay.
