Hotel Elena Syvota

It is a hotel that is located near a forest area. You are afraid of mosquitoes and all kinds of bugs without giving you the feeling of security (We were in a room next to the field and while I was sitting on the balcony I was afraid that no snake would jump out of nowhere) The funny thing is that in the year 2022 it doesn't have screens. We slept with waiting snakes as the bathroom window didn't even have a screen... From the point of view of cleanliness, it didn't drive you crazy. Dirty sheets and spiders on the walls... Old appliances that generally bothered as much especially the air conditioner was working which didn't let us sleep all night in the sleep mode indeed🤣🤣🤣... There was no parking or parking spaces in general and we are talking about an extremely narrow street... Wifi in the rooms we were in didn't work.. Infinitely tiring zig zag stairs up the slope as if it were a labyrinth... The staff was friendly and helpful but what can they do when the rooms have so many shortcomings. The only positive thing about the case was the relatively good and modern, let's say, bathroom that we had in our own room... The completely absurd thing about the case is that the price we paid was €40 for one night without breakfast, while with breakfast it was €97🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Option for one night clearly with 40€ considered ok, if you go in August... Hotel from another era in all respects... I wouldn't recommend it for many days but for one day, if you want a sleep and end...

A very nice family hotel. Excellent architecture, tasteful rooms with renovated w.c. Excellent and friendly staff. The hotel is located at a very close distance from all the excellent beaches of the area as well as from the port of Sivota.

Stay for 4 nights. A noise was constantly heard through the walls. The air conditioner, although efficient, old and extremely noisy. If it had screens we wouldn't even have turned it on, as it was cool at night on the balcony. The mattresses are at least 10 years old. You felt the springs until you found the "gap" to calm down. Every day they came into the room and made the bed and changed the towels. There was also a small old television that looked at the view of the balcony, we didn't even turn it on. In general, we wouldn't have had a problem if the overnight stay was €40, but they are asking for €70/night.
