Staying at the Atrium hotel made our holiday. The hotel itself is beautiful stone building, full of antiques. Lovely sea views from the pool/ terrace and our room. Split into many areas, you can always find a quiet spot to relax or sunbathe. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. A short walk to the nearest beach or the rest of the island is just a short walk to the nearest bus stop which was running every half hour when we were there.

We stayed here as a couple, our first time on Skiathos. The hotel is built on 7 levels and not really suitable for the infirm due to the many steps and despite there being 2 lifts. Rooms are clean, spacious and with fantastic views. Staff are immensely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The Atrium is located close by to many tavernas, restaurants and a supermarket. Bus stop 16, which is on the route that covers all of the Skiathos south coast is 5 minutes walk away. We stayed on a B&B basis, breakfast is the usual Mediterranean affair with a selection of hot and cold options, fruit, yoghurt, cereal etc. if you’re having a pool day, the taverna serves the best authentic Greek food that I ate all holiday. Maybe 10% more expensive than walking down the hill to Agia Paraskevi but much better quality and so convenient. My small criticism is that, while tea and coffee facilities are provided in room, there are no cups, just paper ones.

Stunning location and the mix of wood and stone gives it a lovely authentic feel. Attentive staff, super clean rooms. The many levels can be confusing at first; but that's part of its charm - you never know what is around the next corner! A regular bus route runs across the stretch of the south coast and makes visiting the numerous beaches and Skiathos town very easy. The bus stop is only minutes away. Beautiful hotel on a beautiful island

Beautiful hotel, great staff, excellent location immaculate and clean, but always felt management were mean, little things, only ever one spare toilet roll, shampoo often not replaced, sugar for tea only just enough,Papercups, yes paper, breakfast good but only just, fruit again just enough, dinner good but only just good, needed extra 6 hours in room due to late flight E 165euros charge, just a few small things but added up

The Atrium is a stunningly beautiful place to spend time in. Welcoming, peaceful, attractive and fun. Staff are impressive, friendly and work hard to support a memorable stay. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, well equipped and with great views. The menu and choices available are excellent. We love it and will be back

The Atrium Hotel, grounded into the hillside, looking out toward the sea with its smart immaculate tended gardens that are surrounding this beautifully and interesting building, the interiors with greek antiques and furnishings are a pleasure to behold. Great care and attention to detail are being used by the owner and her team and it shows, they should all be very proud of what they have achieved. The hotel is on the main bus root bus stop 16 into Skiathos town one way and travels the opposite to bus stop 26 Koukounaries beach, it’s a great service and runs regularly each way all day. Skiathos town is clean and picturesque with plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a driver to help you and your luggage up from the road when you arrive and when you check out. We recommend if hiring a car to maybe only just take it for a few days, as the buss service is adequate, Skiathos is only a small island. Bus stop 0 is the terminal, it’s at the port and there’s a bus that takes you up to a beautiful Evagelistrias monastery or if you take a car up drop off for coffee and cake at the platanos café restaurant and enjoy the great view down to the town below. Bus stop 4 is a good stop to drop off if you fancy a walk down around the old winding streets of the older side of the town, we had a walk around and making our way back up to the car I was thinking about how on earth you would go on if you had to do any work on your house property and how Sarah More went on while renovating her own house in this town when there she was walking towards me, a bit funny really, just as if I was in her tv show , we stopped and had a good chat she pointed out her house, also her telling me about how there’s a charity that help to look after the cats on the island. Very nice lady, took the obligatory picture as if it just happens every day, then we parted, very surreal really. Now back to the hotel, Lifts in the hotel to the lower level rooms from reception up to the pool and dining bar areas with safe stairs and steps down to the road, and if you fancy walking for the bus it’s about four five minutes, this area around the bus stop has several restaurants with bars and you can take a stroll around to the sandy beach from here. We didn’t visit any of the restaurants around the bus stop area but believe from others they are good. Our room had all you would need for a comfy stay ,it was cleaned and serviced each day to a high standard with a comfortable bed, bedding and clean towels if needed. Good smart bathroom area with a very good hair dryer, mirror and lighting. There is a kettle for making tea/ coffee with cream coffee teabags in our room, also a fridge tv and air con if needed. Our room with a pictures balcony had table chairs and over looked the pool area, the balcony was surrounded with a beautiful climbing deep pink Bougainvillea which framed the view. Breakfast served fruit meats cheese yogurt cereal bacon freshly made eggs juice coffee tea. Evening dinner

This hotel was lovely, however not perfect. My room was a pool room which had been recently refurbed. It was lovely, big outdoor space and pool. The walk to the beach is about 2 mins down the hill. The beach is gorgeous, clear warm waters, sun beds and lots of choice of tavernas nearby. You can take the bus which was 2e into the town which I recommend. Breakfast was very average and I found it a little faffy and busy. The bed was so uncomfortable I didn’t sleep well for 10 days! My only other negative was the food and drink is expensive at the hotel. I booked onto bbq night and didn’t think it was worth 33euros at all. Considering I’ve had meals out all weeks for about 10euros. Also when you check out beware they charge you your tax. All in all a pleasant hotel but don’t think it was worth what I paid for 10 days at all.

The hotel is a modern take on an old monastery style, which makes it the most beautiful hotel on the island. 25mins from the airport to Agia Paraskevi. Rooms are modern, large, very clean, large wardrobes, plenty of plugs sockets, mirrors etc. Restaurant serves buffet breakfast in the sunshine, cereals, cheese's, meats, breads, fruit, yoghurts, cooked foods - You'll want for nothing. Pool area in the middle of the hotel, elevated, over looing the sea, and its a large pool, great for swimming, plenty of luxury beds around to relax. Pool bar team are great, friendly, attentive, always available to bring you a cold drink on a hot day. The restaurant, run by an exceptional attentive manager (Konstauntiuos) serves gorgeous greek and Mediterranean food, couldn't fault it. Overall, it was an exceptional stay, Electra and her staff, from front of house, to backroom make your stay flawless. Notes: Bus stop 16 is nearby to get into Skiathos Town, €2 per person each way - Get off at Stop 4 and walk into town from the top end Beaches: Ag. Paraskevi is nice, but if you fancy a 25min walk, Kolios & Vromolimnos are lovely Restaurants: Ag. Paraskevi - Platanias Taverna & Bar or in Skiathos Town - Basilikos
