"We had the most amazing stay at Petra Nera and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! Our room was lovely, clean and fresh, with a private pool and beautiful views. We especially loved having the sun on our bedroom terrace until around 1pm, with the main pool always there if we wanted to continue sunbathing afterwards. Housekeeping came every day and were always so friendly. The food and drinks were delicious, but it was the staff who truly made our stay so special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, chatty and accommodating. As someone who is gluten free, I was so impressed with how well catered for I was. They provided gluten-free cereals, bread, muffins and brownies, and after just one day they remembered us for the rest of the trip. Nina and the young gentleman working at the bar in the evenings deserve a special mention! Nothing was ever too much trouble. We asked the hotel to arrange a Suzuki Jimny for us and within minutes it was sorted. Jenny was incredibly helpful and made us feel so well looked after throughout our stay. And last but certainly not least, Aaron, aka “The Captain” from the concierge team. We have genuinely never been greeted so warmly at a hotel. He is such a lovely, helpful person and always had the biggest smile on his face. He really is a credit to the hotel. The location is also perfect, with lots of lovely restaurants, the beach and a supermarket all within walking distance. We also really enjoyed the live music on Monday evening. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about making every guest feel special, and they work so brilliantly together to create such a wonderful experience. We absolutely loved our stay at Petra Nera and are already hoping to return next year and see all those familiar, friendly faces again. Thank you for making our holiday so special! 🤍"

"We had a great holiday at Fengeros Village. Good sized bedroom and great bathroom, towels and bedding replaced alternate days. Very comfy sunbeds. Great views from accommodation well worth the walk up the hill. Excellent location, 10 minutes walk into Skiathos Town. Looking forward to a return stay. Great cocktails."

Aegean Suites, Santikos Collection

"Located approx 15 mins walk from Skiathos town this is a perfect small adult only hotel with just the most friendly and professional staff. Rooms are all suites and lovely, views are stunning, especially the higher up you are. Be aware of steps, there are a lot, 103 to room 206 but you only do a few times a day and does work off dinner. Breakfast superb, lots to help yourself to plus options to choose from for freshly cooked. Lunches were lovely , we always shared as didn't want to over eat. Never ate in the evening as like to wonder into town which was an easy walk both ways. Pool was cleaned every day first thing and only had 1 day when all sun beds taken by 11am We love Greece and skiathos is one of our favourite islands. We would go back one day but like to try new islands so maybe in a few years I can't say enough about the staff , and I mean every single one of them from reception,bar, maids, pool/gardener, to snr mgr. Everyone of them are stars❤️"

"Perfect 2 night stay after a 7 day boat & biking trip around the Sporades, Evia and the Pelion peninsula. Everything at this hotel was spot on from the location, grounds, room, staff, food and drinks. Within a 10 minute walk to Koukanouries beach and easy access by ATV to the prettier beaches of Mandraki and Elias bay on the north side of the island"

"Stayed in the Thalassa Theros for 2 weeks. There are 3 hotels in the Philian collection. There’s a tiny pool and you need to get up early to secure a free sunbed. The Pool Bar is ok, maybe a little expensive. Note : the sunbeds on the beach in front of the hotel restaurant are not free for residents and there are no concessions, which we thought unusual. 20 euros for 2 beds and a brollie. Book in advance. The hotel provide towels. Despite an upsetting start to our holiday regarding our room allocation (we had to move room after four days and still not sure if this was a management error or Jet2) we would stay at the Theros again. Our second room was spacious with a large private balcony (the first room was the size of a wardrobe). Very clean and surprisingly quiet. Breakfast we thought was amazing with plenty of choice. Staff were very helpful. Big shout out to Laura. We didn’t eat at the Achinos restaurant but looked very popular. Ideally located on the beach and a 15 minute walk to Skiathos town."

"We had an experience to forget: the walk-in shower flooded every time we used it, there was a strong sewer smell, and the room was not kept at all. During our three-day stay, the sheets and towels were never changed. The most disturbing thing was that a friend of ours found part of the money he had put in the safe missing, thinking he'd be safe. If you want to visit the island, there are definitely better options..."

"Good hotel, perfectly positioned, you are practically in the center of Skiathos, a pleasant walk and in 5 minutes you are at the port. The only flaw is the breakfast which is always the same and for us who eat an unsalted breakfast there was almost nothing. For the rest everything is ok, I change towels every 2 days but they make up your room every day. The owner very kind."

"Excellent location just a short walk into the town centre, yet very quiet. Great value for money. Cleverly designed clean modern room with ensuite wet room. Thanos is a wonderful host who really cares about making sure that you have a great stay. Very well equipped, coffee maker, kettle ironing board, hair dryer, even an umbrella, small balcony with clothes airer including pegs, Thanos has tried to think of everything. Highly recommended for anyone wanting accommodation only in Skiathos Town. "
