Hotel Bristol

This hotel is full of charm. We had half board, which you can change dinner for lunch. We both really enjoyed the food, the restaurant staff are amazing and like lots of other people who have reviewed Luca is great. We were on the 7th floor so were high enough not to be disturbed by the traffic noise, I can imagine it’s a nuisance if you are on a lower floor. The road outside is busy and noisy, there is a narrow path so you can walk into Sorrento town, approx 10 minutes. The pool is cold when you first get in but after that it is really comfortable. The views over Sorrento are amazing. The walking tour with the Tui rep is useful to get your bearings. Would definitely recommend it.

This hotel just kept on giving, there are loads of comfortable seating and rest areas to choose from around the hotel. The Hotel is set in a cliff on the hillside with spectacular views over Sorrento. The hotel was clean, the rooms comfortable, the maid service regular and the rooms cleaned properly. The meals offered for half board were excellent, a different choice each evening with waiter service, an a la carte was available but as the main meals were so good we never used a la carte. The waiters were always attentive and made you feel very special. Many thanks to Giuseppe for making our holiday special. Luca and the team are great, they all make the holiday experience special and without them it would not be the same. I visited here with my friend and will definitely visit again with my husband. I cannot wait to revisit this hotel. The hospitality, ambiance and food are just perfect. A special mention to Luca, who is a warm, hardworking man who made sure everything was perfect for your dining experience. Thank you Luca!! The hotel is authentic and beautiful. Please choose a balcony for your stay as you will never tire of waking up to the gorgeous views. The rooms were cleaned every day and were lovely and cool. Breakfast had a wonderful selection and eggs were offered (any which way you liked) cooked freshly. Dinner was unbelievable, with a good selection of choice. I had expected to eat out most nights but due to how good the food was we didn't feel the need. Most surprisingly, you could swap dinner for lunch if you were eating out and I think this was a lovely touch. The pool was located on the roof top, with ample space and the early bird catches the worm. The bar offered a good selection of drinks and food. You must try a Limoncello Spritz at the Bristol. They are superb . Thank you for a wonderful stay. I have some great memories!

It’s hard to know where to start as our week at the Hotel Bristol was just perfect in every way. The location is ideal, an easy 6 min walk from the busy shopping area. Our room was bright, clean and spacious with a balcony and view to die for. However, without doubt, Luca and his team in the restaurant are the greatest asset to this hotel. They are attentive, friendly and create a wonderful atmosphere-we really can’t thank them enough as they made our stay! The food itself is wonderful and plenty of choice at both breakfast and in the evenings too. We will definitely return to Sorrento and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Wow. What an absolutely incredible experience for our first time in Italy/ Sorrento. So much so we have already booked to go and stay at the hotel Bristol again next year! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with such a relaxing and calm atmosphere. The view from our room overlooked the marina grande and the bay of Naples and I enjoyed my morning coffee sat on my balcony soaking in the breath taking views each morning. We were half board and opted to have breakfast & dinner at the hotel and the food was nothing short of perfection! The staff (shout out to our friend, Luca) are the kindest, with great humour and pay great attention to detail. Absolutely felt like we were in a 5* establishment. This hotel had everything you could want including it’s own lovely lemon grove. We spent some lovely days lounging by the pool and enjoyed some entertainment in the bar. A stones throw away from the bustling centre of Sorrento and the Piazza Tasso- an absolutely perfect location. My only complaint is not of the hotel itself but the people staying in the room next to us were very loud and often kept us awake late at night and very early in the mornings. Overall my experience was amazing and I am very much looking forward to brushing up on my Italian ready to come back near year.

We got in late on the first night and didn't expect to have a selection of cold foods to eat when we got in which was very much appreciated. We had the balcony sea view room and honestly I don't think you could get a better view to wake up to. The shutters were also a god send (first time to a sunny abroad place so I don't know if this is standard). The room was a little too cool for me at the beginning but I got used to this very quickly and appreciated it when it was already 20 degrees by 7am. Room service kept the room clean every day. The beds were firm but that was perfect for us, the only issue was the twin beds moving apart overnight which meant my elbow were often between the beds in the morning but a minor issue with how everything else was The staff were all so friendly, polite and helpful. Shout out to Luca for being an excellent host, making us feel comfortable and at home. The food was spot on. I had a saffron risotto rice at one point and I've not stopped talking about it haha! You can choose to have a lunch or a dinner with breakfast. Oh the breakfast was so good too. I had meat, cheese, cakes/tarts with fresh orange or lemon juice every day. The pool was a little too cold when we had a dip to the point the my partner had to get out pretty soon after getting in as his lips were turning blue but if you really wanted the swim it really isn't far from the beach to dip in the Med. All in all, I can not fault the service provided by the hotel staff. I am just a bit gutted that we forgot to visit the garden! I've never stayed in a 5 star hotel but damn Hotel Bristol should be.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and great roof top pool Area with amazing views over Sorrento. The rooms are a little basic, but decorated with Italian charm. The view from the balcony was lovely & the food on half board for this hotel was delicious! If I was visiting the area again I would stay here.

Fantastic hotel. 10 minutes walk away from Sorrento town. The views are amazing from the hotel. The food and restaurant is spot on. Waiter service for meals. The food is lovely. The staff can not do enough for you. With a lovely roof top terrace and swimming pool.Over looking the bay. Also if you go further there are beautiful gardens. Definitely a hotel worth recommending.

Excellent service. Gorgeous views of Sorrento through many rooms, lounges, etc. Rooms were spacious and modern. Extremely clean hotel and friendly staff. Pool area was very nice and spacious. Many bars and options for drinks. Breakfast every day overlooking Sorrento was peaceful.
