After Temple visit, exit through the back gate and start the hiking to Hengshan. Recommend to take a mini bus ¥40/way（中巴）up to Nantian Gate 南天门, from there hike to the peak and walk down on foot. Total steps 37k. There is a KFC next to hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. In general, quite a reasonable stay.
