During our stay, both Butler Kim and Butler Hani were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They made everything feel easy and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Kim, in particular, truly stood out. She was cheerful, warm, and very thoughtful, and even took the initiative to help my husband and me take beautiful photos, which meant so much to us. Her genuine care and positive energy made our experience feel personal rather than routine.

Anonymous UserI've been using Trip.com for years, and this is the first time I've ever left such a negative review. I checked in late at night, only to find the door lock was ridiculously broken, almost falling off. When I went downstairs and immediately asked for a room change, the front desk acted as if they hadn't heard me, saying they'd send someone to fix it right away and told me to go back upstairs. Even though they managed to drill the nail back in, it felt like it would fall off again with just a push from the outside. I contacted Trip.com, and I overheard the front desk telling their customer service on the phone, 'It's OK. OK, just the safety lock.' Later, they told me it was fixed and to go back up. Throughout the entire negotiation process that evening, there wasn't a single apology. Is this what the Mercure brand has come to now?
With the help of Trip.com customer service (Yanzi), I finally got a room change, utterly exhausted. I don't understand why they wouldn't switch rooms when there were clearly other rooms of the same type available. After a ten-hour flight, and no rest – who could give a good review? By the way, Yanzi was truly efficient and excellent at communication, a stark contrast to the speechless hotel staff.
P.S. The location is excellent. Subway and supermarket are all conveniently available. Breakfast is around 100+ riyals; it's filling and even has congee, but it's not worth purchasing separately.

Rekomenduję i chętnie wrócę!

A Tranquil Escape Steeped in Heritage
If you're looking for an unforgettable blend of cultural richness and refined luxury, Bab Samhan in Diriyah is simply exceptional. Nestled in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s historic Diriyah district, this Luxury Collection Hotel captures the soul of Najdi tradition with world-class hospitality.
From the stunning mud-brick architecture to the serene courtyards and curated Saudi interiors, every corner of the property tells a story. The service is warm and intuitive — genuinely some of the best I’ve experienced. The rooms are peaceful sanctuaries, and the dining experience celebrates local flavors with elegance and creativity.
Bab Samhan is more than just a hotel — it's a cultural experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authenticity, comfort, and a deep sense of place.

Guest UserI stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the hotel very much. It is conveniently located next to the major subway station so I could travel within town without being stuck in infamous traffic. I had a suite and it was tastefully decorated and had all the modern levels of comfort, including the smart light system and a stand alone tub. Since it was my birthday, I also was given a very delicious complementary cake to celebrate this occasion, along with a basket of fruits and Arabic coffee.
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
P.S. One note - I wish they had a concierge because none of the reception employees knew anything about the celebration of the Founding Day, not even the fact that the roads to the hotel were blocked by the police and it took extra 30 mins for the taxi driver to go around.

The room facilities and cleanliness meet the standards you'd expect from a chain hotel. The service was absolutely fantastic! Since our flight was late that night, we discussed it with the front desk and they kindly extended our checkout time to 5 PM.

Overall, the facilities are old, and there's no Chinese-speaking staff. The key cards often malfunction, and breakfast is very mediocre. There's hardly any service. The first floor is a mixed bag of people, and the location is just average. Not worth a 4-star rating.

TONGThe hotel is located in the north of Riyadh, the new district, like the development zones of some cities in China. There will be a king's financial district and many high-rise buildings under construction in the urban area. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the airport. But it is a bit far from the old town. The facilities of the hotel are very good, especially with a bathtub. There are no bathtubs in many international brand hotels in this desert city. The hotel's restaurant is also very good, the food and taste are very much like, the buffet has a lot of precious fruits, value for money.

I didn't realize that there are two Swiss Flora Hotels nearby so my taxi dropped me off at the wrong one, which was very frustrating for me as I was exhausted and sick. But the kind front desk agent offered me a free ride with the hotel vehicle to the correct one, which was just around the block.
The hotel was very comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious (I had their traditional Saudi stew with rice and fresh squeezed orange juice) and the service was impeccable.
The room was very comfortable with all the modern amenities as expected in any city hotel, but the room had a faint cigarette smell which I didn't like. I was too tired to change rooms, do I dealt with it.
I asked for a wake up call at 2:30am which I did receive...thankfully!
