This is an outstanding hotel with an amazing scenery and great food and wine but I have to say the best part about it are the people - I’ve never felt so welcome at a hotel before, it’s almost like a big family. Also, extraordinary hospitality and service. One might think that staying at a resort all week (or longer) could somehow become repetitive and boring but given the wide selection of activities they offer every day (most for free!!) we never once got bored. I strongly suggest to go to every activity you can and especially the wine tastings, the cocktail tasting and the cooking classes are very much worth your time! Also this resort probably has one of the best wine cellars in all of greece and I enjoyed every second of talking to Tony (the sommelier) (or drinking one of his reccomended wines). The knowledge and creativity displayed by him and Dimitris (the bartender) during the tastings but also at any other times are amazing - they are able to surprise you every single time! The resort itself is also great, the villas are very well curated and get cleaned very thouroughly. Of course the best thing is the view from the terrace of the villas and I already miss relaxing there with a glass of wine. Also given that there are 5 differently themed restaurants we were always amazed by the selection of dishes and in theory would have never had to eat anything twice (however we did because some of the dishes were just so great). Our favorite was the Vinum restaurant because of the scenery in the wine cellar. Also, the breakfast at Lofos is very high level - we had to hold back at breakfast so we had room for lunch and dinner and let me tell you, that wasn’t easy because it was that good. The only negative thing I could say about the resort is the pretty long drive (1,5h) from the airport to it but the shuttle the resort offers is good. All in all a very nice resort with very little flaws that truly feels like a luxury vacation - we will definitely come back a third time! Special thanks to Tony, Dimitris, Sofia and Nikos and all the others for making this holiday as amazing as it was!

Lovely peaceful late season half term break with a wonderful ocean view. Smooth transfer from the airport (90 mins) all arranged by the hotel. Eagles villas provide a restful break, just up the hill from the main hotel with golf buggies transport efficiently provided when requested (but the walk is straight forward as well!) We had a two bed villa which was ideal and the pool was perfect, out door shower and decking ideal to enjoy the ocean view. George the Butler was excellent, super helpful with great service. we really enjoyed the spa and water sports / boat to nearby islands. Three small things I would like to suggest: 1. USB be added on both sides of the main bedroom for charging devices. 2. Give menus to guests in the Lofos restaurant - we were three days into the holiday before finding out there was an evening menu and only on the last day did we receive the breakfast menu!! Before that we were disappointed in the buffet not knowing there was more on offer… 3. Provide enough glasses and cups for the number of people in the villa for cups of tea 4. Consider not charging for water at dinner.. We will return to hopefully enjoy the full menu… Highly recommend this small hotel

Amongst the best places we’ve ever stayed at, in terms of location, facilities, and most of all, the staff. Our Villa (606) had a beautiful view over the sea, was immaculately presented and was just a lovely, safe place to be as a family. The splash pool in the Villa didn’t get enough use as the weather in this early season wasn’t quite warm enough for it in the evening. The private beach area is beautiful and we spent a couple of days just relaxing, whilst the kids went off kayaking and paddle boarding on the millpond of a bay. The food at the grill was exceptional. We were half board and there was plenty of choice: fresh fruit, “home” baked bread and treats, sliced meats and cooked things for breakfast. Dinner had good choices (even for fussy eaters) and the staff were always happy to accommodate requests and help in whatever way they could. The spa was great, the pool was warm and not full. The gym was there apparently but I didn’t manage to make it in 😂 What made it all was the staff… they were all amazing. Couldn’t have made you few more welcome, more supported or more relaxed. From George’s warm welcome and concierge start, to Nikki et al on Reception, to the lifeguard, to Tony the sommelier, to Dimitri in the bar and every single one of the service staff they were just exceptional. Will write more next year when we come back!!

The villas are perfection. Was our third stay, although this wasn’t acknowledged which is odd for a hotel of that category. The staff at the villas reception were spot on! Couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms and views are breathtaking. Rooms have all you need. Housekeeping very good. Pool and garden lovely and well used by us. The breakfast was excellent matched by the service which was faultless! The villas have own pool area at the top of the hill which we used a lot. Was wonderful and lunches were very good. A bell might be a handy addition as there was no way to get a drink unless we went up to the bar. The Italian was our favourite and we went twice! Food was lovely and ambiance and service excellent! Now sadly the negatives which I feel I have to address. None of the concerns are in relation to Eagles Villas but the hotel whose facilities you use. The hotel has several restaurants and the fish restaurant for evenings and also lunch was one of reasons for our return but what the hell has happened? We arrived on the Monday and yes it was 2:45 but thought would have a late lunch as had been up since 04:00. Service was disinterested and actually at times rude. Bread basket was full of ants which fell onto our plates. We didn’t complain just put to one side. Hubby had fish but wasn’t impressed and sadly later that evening was ill. We didn’t think was the restaurant but sadly we ate there again in the Wednesday and again had fish and was ill again. After that we avoided except for one evening. This comes to second concern. Last visit we had the all inclusive package and everything was included except for lobster I think. This time the only thing from the grill included was the Dorado. As a result we only ate there one evening. Telling was it was almost empty. On a plus we had a lovely birthday cake which really pleased my husband. Venum was lovely and food good and staff excellent and we ate there twice! Staff are a credit to the hotel. Fine dining restaurant on our last stay we went twice this time one visit and the food just wasn’t for us sadly. Beach service excellent! Helpful staff always on hand. Abundance of towels and beds to choose from. Overall we had a wonderful stay but just feel those issue we raised do need addressing.

Great place with amazing staff, brilliant selection of restaurants and pools. We stayed in a villa and from the first minute to the last we were treated like royalty. Exceptional service from all the Staff at Lofos but must give special praise to Dimitri, as my wife has a food intolerance ( Coeliac) Dimitri gave such excellent attention to ensuring that each meal was particularly enjoyable knowing that it would be safe. All of the restaurants were made aware of this issue and we had no problems finding help and advice with what was gluten free and therefore not a problem. I would also give thanks to Kyryokas ( I think that’s the right spellling, if not I apologise) who was leaving the resort for new adventures and a new life, my wife and myself wish him the very best for his future. I really cannot think of anything or anymore superlatives about this resort and accommodation, we don’t often go back to the same place but would return here in a heartbeat. The best team of people, service, accommodation and food you would ever wish to find.

Had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Villas. It has the ambience of a small hotel but the facilities of a resort. Would recommend booking dine around or Bon Vivant. Enjoyed all restaurants but Kamares and Armyra especially, both in beautiful settings. Also suggest getting resort transfer included as 90min trip. Our experience was superb and particularly thanks to all staff who were attentive, professional and so friendly, always smiling. Thanks especially to chef at Lofos at breakfast, manager at Vinum and all staff at Almyra. The infinity pool at Villas looked lovely but the beach was so beautiful that the pool was never used. Used Lofos for breakfast but otherwise restaurants with Bon Vivant package. Food was excellent throughout with good wine selection. Only slight negative was room allocated was not as requested but changed after first night to exactly as required so no problem. We will be booking again!!

We stayed in Eagles Villas. Prior to the journey we did not have high expectations as the service in Africa and Asia is always much better then in Europe and thus we were really pleasantly surprised. Eagles Villas is great, great choice. The drive from the airport in max 2hrs. We did not use hotel shuttle as we wanted to be alone, but shuttle works fine as well. Originally we asked for it, communication with reception was quick, fast with an almost immediate confirmation. There were not any issues canceling it as well. Once you are in the resort, you are dropped outside Eagles Palace resort lobby. There are diwans outside where you can relax. We told bellboys that we are going to Eagles Villas and they arranged e-buggy to take us to Eagles Villas reception. It is 5 mins short walk uphill or a short 30 seconds ride. Check in was very quick, everything was explained and off we went to villa 511. The villa itself is wonderful. Spotless clean, heavenly white, small outdoor pool, kids slept in living room on two extra beds. Perfect thing is that a family of 4 can sleep together. We had a small garden and view of Athos mountain and from some parts also ocean view. There is small verandah with table. Wifi was a bit weak outside but worked pretty well inside. Great outdoor shower, small pool and garden. The beach is 5 min walk downhill. The area is huge. We used the "quiet zone" and there were always sunbeds available. The sea is crystal clear and water refreshingly cool. Entry to water is sandy with some stones but wet shoes are not necessary. As far as meals are concerned we were on Bon Vivant programme, kind of all inclusive. As we stayed in villa we went for breakfast to Lofos restaurant. Nice, tasty breakfast either buffet or you can order meals like egg benedict etc. We spent the day on the beach. Just ring the bell on beach parasol you are using and waiter will come and collect your order. You have to wait sometimes but it is not a big issue. You choose through QR menu and it is part of Bon Vivant programme. As far as dinners are concerned we dined in Lofos, Eleonas and Armyra restaurant. If you are on Bon Vivant you can always choose one appetiser, main meal, desert and drinks included in the package. All dishes were tasty and we liked dinner in all of them. If Im to choose then the beach restaurant Armyra is the best. The atmosphere, gentle breeze, sea..simply good life :) Lofos is liked among families and sometimes it is very noisy and messsy outside....kids. They serve buffet dinner several days a week or a la carte. We went for a day trip to Drenia island. The sunbeds are there and that is it. If you are lucky enough then very few people will visit the island and you will have the island for yourselves. However during the main season there are many small boats coming to island and kid of spoiling the atmosphere. Sunbeds are hotel property but beach is public so anyone can pitch a towel right next to you. Sea is wonderful, the beach is

Overall great holiday, maybe a little surprised but was brilliant. The Villa we had was fantastic, service from the staff was top level. Very clean and tidy. I liked how we could use the beach, main pool, and our own pool each day, without the need to get up early to reserve 1 bed for the full day. Only reasons not 5*: advertised as ultra/premium all inclusive, it isn’t, you have to pay extra for a lot of drinks (eg Hendricks), and also certain foods. You only get certain wines at meals. I think this needs addressed - it’s either premium AI or it isn’t. Overall great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at eagles villas, We stayed in a one bedroom pool villa and it really had the wow factor. Amazing sea views, modern, light and very spacious. Food at this resort is superb. From the a la carte menu at Lofos to the restaurants in the main hotel, we enjoyed them all. The beach taverna was the only disappointment because of the slow/lack of service one evening but the food I couldn’t fault. The beach is very clean and plenty of water sports available. I loved the fact the kids club was just behind the beach, Infact everything was pretty well laid out. We were driven back and forwards to the main hotel and beach by the lovely staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Would recommend booking a boat trip to nearby islands, for snorkelling in stunning bays and having a look in gift shops and tavernas.
