Wanran is a charming Minsu homestay nestled in a beautifully preserved 100-year-old house, surrounded by a walkable neighborhood filled with heritage shophouses, cozy cafes, local eateries, and even a shopping mall. It’s the perfect balance of old-world charm and modern convenience. This family-run homestay — hosted by a lovely couple and their two children — offers a genuine and welcoming experience. The guest room is a renovated part of the old home: clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials. Beyond the nostalgic architecture, what makes this place truly special is the tea room. It’s a hidden gem filled with rare and high-quality teas sourced from various regions. Guests are warmly invited to sit, sip, and chat — not just about tea, but also about culture, stories, and everyday life. Even as a foreigner with only basic Chinese skills, I felt completely at ease spending time in the tea room, exchanging thoughts with the host. Language wasn’t a barrier at all — tea became our shared language. This was my first time staying in a tea house, and it left me with beautiful memories. If you're looking for something authentic, relaxing, and deeply rooted in local life and tea culture, Wanran is a must.

Anjia apartment is in nice residential area, just behind the Hilton hotel, and there is a food court nearby. It offers a beautiful view (see my photos).The apartment is not so close to Quanzhou as it looks on the map, and bus service is on an hourly basis. So, you are better using taxi or Didi. But it is not so far from Jinjiang Wudanshi Traditioal Blocks. The rent is pricey, but it is comfortable. Especially if it is a holiday they raised a price from 180 RMB to 326 RMB. Guests are required to do a self-check-in. However, there are no fabric towel, only paper ones. Imagine you dry yourself with a paper towel, which is disgusting, it is not enough, so you have to suffer after taking a shower. The owners who rent around dozen apartments do not want to bother to wash towels; they prefer lazy lifestyle of rich owners - easy money with less work.

The nearby Sunshine Night Market has lots of food options, and it's close to the bus stop. The single room is a bit small, but the price is cheap. It has a TV, and toiletries, toothbrush, towels, and bath towels are provided. The room also has heating, so it won't be cold in winter.

Two years ago, I transited through Quanzhou overnight. I booked a hotel there at the same time as my flight, but I didn't arrive until after midnight and had to catch my flight early the next morning. I only remember the owner picking me up and dropping me off at the airport; his attitude was always very good. This time, I drove nearly 5000 kilometers. My original plans were for Xiamen and Fuzhou, but being nostalgic, I wanted to visit the place I stayed two years ago. Around 8 PM, after getting off the highway, it suddenly dawned on me—maybe it was booked through Ctrip! I checked my Ctrip account and found it! I didn't care about the detour; I booked it there immediately. It took almost another half hour to drive there. Returning to this familiar place filled me with emotion. Two years ago, also in August, I only stayed for a few hours before catching my flight. I thought back to when I could come back again, and now, just two short years later, I'm back.

This is a hotel in a small town. I didn't have high expectations, but after checking in, I found it to be very good. The room was clean and tidy, with a pleasant scent of floral water. The owner was very friendly and showed us the room first. The faucet had a large water flow, which was very good. I will recommend it to my friends.

The projection of this hotel is really a ”hidden egg” configuration! The large screen picture quality is absolutely the broadcast of the coastal sunset picture, the texture of the swell reef, the gradient of the purple sunset, like moving IMAX into the room. In the darkened room, the projection light is wrapped in a soft bed, and the immersion of lying down and watching the sea is directly full, even the sound of the waves is like in your ear. You don’t have to go to the theater, you can have a private viewing + sea view experience in the bed. This projection directly lifts the texture of the accommodation several files. It is the degree to which I will choose this one for it next time!

I sent a location map to me later. The room is very big. It is the kind of two rooms, it is really super close to Wudian City, and the high-rise, the night view is very good. The environment is also very quiet. Toiletries are disposable. At that time, I came to travel and bought a disposable toilet pad for face towel. As a result, the boss gave them. In the evening, the store in Wudian City is really empty. It is recommended that you travel during the day and go to Qingyang Street at night, but when you come back at 11:30 and 12 o'clock, you find that there is also a night market downstairs! !

The location is very good and the price is affordable. The key is that the room is better than expected, and the customized electric kettle is very good. The bed is also comfortable, clean and quiet. The store has a very good service attitude, and the front desk lady is very good. The washing machine has a dryer, so I can just take it away. There is also a refrigerator in the room, which is very convenient. Next time I come, I will stay again. It is very good and worth recommending! ! !
