The Painting Village, churches, and other attractions are all within walking distance. The train station itself is also very distinctive.

The hostel is near the village, just some hundreds meters walking. The room is big and has floor heating. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They helped us a lot and also served me free breakfast. The only minus thing is they did not clean room every day but if you request they will provide amenities.

Choosing the right guesthouse in Hengdaohezi is absolutely key for a great trip, and this one made our vacation incredibly happy! The owner was super thoughtful; they communicated with us in advance about our pickup time and were waiting for us at the station, immediately helping with our luggage – it instantly warmed us up in the winter chill. The guesthouse room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the snow view outside the window was incredibly calming. The biggest surprise was the extra activities: they provided free snow tubes, so we could enjoy the thrill of sliding in the snow right in the yard – both adults and kids had a blast. In the evening, the owner organized a bonfire party; everyone gathered around the fire, chatting and laughing, creating a lively and wonderful atmosphere. The owner also enthusiastically shared local travel tips and food recommendations, being completely genuine and transparent throughout. Whether it was the service, environment, or activities, everything was impeccable. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hengdaohezi, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a snow trip!

The room is clean, but there is a cold wind coming in through the window. Please give the boss another quilt. I will sleep until dawn. Although it is on the first floor, it is very quiet at night. It will not be noisy to rest. It is next to Jingbo Lake, but it is recommended that you still drive to the entrance of the scenic spot. There is still some road to walk inside, so it would be better if you can walk less

I came to Hengdaohezi for a long time. I also chose Xinya Hotel for a long time in terms of accommodation. I saw on Xiaohongshu that the hygiene was great, and the boss’s service attitude was very good. The most consequential thing was that I didn’t step on thunder. I didn't originally stay at this hotel, but because the room I booked was sold out, Ctrip customer service called me to arrange a new room for me, and I didn't have to pay the price difference. Home Inns are clean, tidy and comfortable. I will continue to choose Ctrip next time I travel.

The owner is very kind. Even though I don't speak Chinese, we will able to communicate by using Wechat. The location of the property is about 8-10 minute walk to Harbin Railway Station. Heilongjiang Provincial Musuem is also walking distance. And Carrefour is about 10 minute walk of you want to buy groceries. Hot water is present. And the bed is comfortable. Highly recommended for the price I paid.
