The guesthouse room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the snow view outside the window was incredibly calming. The biggest surprise was the extra activities: they provided free snow tubes, so we could enjoy the thrill of sliding in the snow right in the yard – both adults and kids had a blast. In the evening, the owner organized a bonfire party; everyone gathered around the fire, chatting and laughing, creating a lively and wonderful atmosphere. The owner also enthusiastically shared local travel tips and food recommendations, being completely genuine and transparent throughout. Whether it was the service, environment, or activities, everything was impeccable. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hengdaohezi, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a snow trip!

The hotel I stayed at when I crossed the border from Suifenhe to Russia had a very generous breakfast and a very unique and nice room. I would recommend it. Heilongjiang Provincial Musuem is also walking distance. And Carrefour is about 10 minute walk of you want to buy groceries. Hot water is present. And the bed is comfortable. Highly recommended for the price I paid.
