The hotel's ambiance is a plus. We visited during lotus season and were treated to stunning views. There's ample parking, and while it was quite busy that day, everyone parked. The breakfast was prepared with great care. I won't comment on the amenities. I should mention that the room names were a bit confusing when booking. The king and deluxe king rooms are located in an older building, and the deluxe king room felt inferior to the king room. The price was also higher for the king room. The standard room is located in a concrete building, but the soundproofing is excellent.

From the Sichuan-Tibet line in southern Anhui, I chose this hotel. Very friendly family keeping open the hotel. They allowed me to store my bicycle in a close by building they own. As for the room, it was quite a standard room, although quite spacious and clean. Despite my late arrival, I was even allowed to do laundry.

The room type is spacious, the lighting is simple and bright, and it is a better choice for the local area in the grade of the hotel. It was already dark when we arrived at the redwood forest, so we planned to watch the sunrise early the next morning. We searched online and found the nearest place was the Bald Cypress Inn. My first impression upon arrival was that it was quite cozy. There weren't many people there; only four people were dining in the glass-enclosed restaurant. Following the owner's recommendation, we ordered free-range chicken and small river fish for dinner – two meat dishes for two people! Unexpectedly, the food was incredibly delicious. The chicken was especially fragrant, and the small river fish was very fresh. When paying the bill, I specifically praised the food to the owner, who explained that it was the off-season and his wife had cooked it herself. I was so glad! The food was perfectly suited to our tastes. The room we stayed in was also very clean and well-equipped. The next morning, we had vegetable and egg noodles at the inn. It turns out you can see the redwood forest from the restaurant! I loved it and highly recommend it. The owners, a husband and wife, were very welcoming. [Grinning face emoji]
