Casa Lobo is a luxury villa in Salobreña, build in 1976 in traditional Andalusian style and situated in the quiet and very private Urbanization Costa Aguilera Mar. The views from all principal rooms are simply stunning! The villa has its own private, heated pool surrounded by terraces and a mature garden with excellent sea view. Located on a plot with no major roads between this property and sea this villa is close enough to the sea to see the dolphins playing below. The approach from the entrance gate at road level to the front door is via a pretty entrance patio just a few steps down from the road and garage level. This walled courtyard area with the Spanish fountain sets the property away from the street and provides privacy. From this area you can go around the property to the pool area and surrounding gardens or to the upper garden area with its barbeque area and the build in Argentinian Barbeque surrounded by fruit trees. The villa has an open plan dining and living area which are on two levels with a separate kitchen adjacent to the dining area on the upper level. Close to the entrance there is a bathroom with shower. The dining area overlooks the living area and on descending a small number of steps you enter the open living area with high ceilings and large windows which means the area remains bright and open with views south, along the Costa Tropical, Salobreña beach and to the rock on which the castle in Salobrena sits. In the corner of the room there is a wood burning stove, ideal for the cooler evenings in the winter adding both heat and atmosphere to the property. There is easy access on this level to a very private terrace with its own external fireplace allowing the residents to spend more time outside in the evenings and nights throughout the year. Part of the terrace is covered which avoids too much light entering the living area directly, keeping it cooler as well as providing useful shelter from the sun when relaxing outside. This is a modern, contemporary style villa that has a wonderful esign. It belongs in the pages of Architectural Digest. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet. The house can sleep 6 in total not counting children that sleep in cots. The house has an infinity pool 10 meters long by 4.5 meters wide. The infinity pool has black mosaic tile so the colour of the water blends with the sea. The effect is amazing. The pool has an automatic cover that is solar so the cover can heat the pool on its own. Not only is this good for the environment, it is also good for one´s economy as there is no extra cost to heat the pool. There is however a heat pump as a back up, so that a temperature of up to 30 degrees can be guaranteed, if you would like more than just the heating received from the solar cover. The pool has built-in steps and is illuminated as well. The layout of the house is as follows. At road level there is off road parking for several cars. There is one area that is open and another area that is secure and behind a gate. As you enter the villa, you will be awe struck by the views of the sea, the mountains, which are snow covered part of the year, and the Moorish castle of Salobrena that is illuminated at night. It is like a post card. You can´t ask for a more stunning and interesting view both by day and by night. The spacious main bedroom is on the entrance level. It has a sitting area with 2 comfortable arm chairs and a TV and a DVD. Off of the main bedroom is a private, covered porch, which is the ideal place to enjoy your morning coffee and the sunshine as you take in the lovely views. There is comfortable outdoor furniture for your use. There is an en suite bathroom with double sinks and a good sized bathtub and a walk in wardrobe. Steps lead down from the entry level to the main level of the villa, where you will find the open plan living area. This open plan living area features double height ceilings with double height windows so you can enjoy the views over the infinity pool to the sea and the mountains. You can even enjoy the blue skies that Andalucia is famous for from inside the villa. Make sure you bring your sun glasses as you can make use of them even when you are inside. There is a wood burner in the living area as well to keep you warm on the occasional cool, winter evenings. The kitchen is modern and features an island and is fully equipped. Of course, there is a dishwasher as well as no one wants to spend their holiday washing up! Since the layout is open plan you can be part of the action while cooking. The living area opens onto the pool terrace so you can move seamlessly from inside to outside. There are 2 more bedrooms on this main level of the villa.
