And the grandpa who picked us up at the station was very responsible. Although he picked us up at 3 o'clock, he should have known that we would arrive at the station early according to the train timetable, and he looked for us at the station with signs with the name of the hotel. Family and I really liked our stay at Ninestates Karatsu. It was clean, well maintained and family friendly. Location was fine though traffic on the road in front of the hotel is usually busy in the morning and evening. Parking could be a little challenging if the carpark is almost full and you drive a larger car. Not many food options within walking distance, so it could be easier for those who drive.
