This B&B I stayed in during my visit to Jiuhua Mountain was a pleasant surprise. The price/performance ratio was very high. The yard was beautifully decorated. I chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent. However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there. While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled. The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions. Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience. I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking. I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

Since the folk custom is in a relatively secluded place, you don't have to worry about people or cars disturbing your peace early in the morning. There is also a swimming pool in the B&B, but it cannot be used in winter. It should be good in summer. Breakfast is simple but delicious. The eldest sister is very enthusiastic and cooks noodles and omelettes for us every day, which is delicious. There are also corn, steamed buns, tea eggs, steamed buns, etc. Although there are not many choices, they are all delicious. And the eldest sister is also very enthusiastic!
