The hotel is very satisfied and meets the name of the Garden Hotel. The front desk service is very good, with you explaining one by one. is that there are fewer breakfast options, and it is recommended to have pictures for people with language barriers. For example, there are four practices for eggs, and I don't understand them at all.

The hotel is very good, but not a giant hotel, in a beautiful environment as long as you are in the hotel (face to the marina) but in a +/- industrial area but safe. A ship is available every hour for you to take to the city (about 15min car). Room very clean and spacious with balcony. 2 swimming pools and 3 restaurants in the hotel. Serviettes available for the swimming pool. Heat staff

This Santa Maria Suites experience is great! The rooms are spacious and bright, with a fully equipped open kitchen, modern and warm. Surrounded by tropical gardens, the pool is quiet and comfortable, and free snacks and drinks are also provided. Excellent location, walking to South Beach, Duval Street, travel is super convenient, very recommended ～

This hotel is a kind of more lively hotel, just at the cruise terminal. In the morning breakfast, there will be cruise ships of major cruise companies coming and parked, and will drive away in the afternoon! The hotel's people are all foreign friends and buddies come together for a holiday party, the pool is very lively, the pool view room will be noisy at night! Sea view room is ok! I feel that it is not so suitable for a family to bring children, if a few families bring children together! It's convenient to go anywhere, needless to say! But to say that it is convenient, there is not much in the center of Key West, which is very convenient! The hotel is good because of its location, so the price is not high! Nothing else to say, the service level is first class! Sea view room can see the setting sun!

The front desk was wonderful, room was good, pool area very nice. The problem was the cleaning crew. We wanted to stay until checkout at 11:00, as our flight didn’t leave until 2:30. At 10:00, two cleaning ladies with their cart parked directly outside our window, constantly looking into our window, just waiting for us to leave. We were extremely uncomfortable! No one likes to be watched from a peeping Tom outside their window. It was terrible. When we were finally left, we couldn’t get out the door because their cart was blocking the way.

La concha is a beautiful & historic hotel in the heart of beautiful Key West. The location is unbeatable & the balcony rooms, while smaller than other standard rooms, offers excellent people watching & beautiful blue sky views. A parking space is included, which is great to have right on Duval & Fleming Streets. The staff was mostly very friendly, but the service level varied. At one point in our stay, the front desk went out of their way to make us a key card to use the microwave located in the conference room. When I asked to use it the next day, another staff member says there wasn't one in the building. I went & took a photo through the window to show him. He then said he could not grant me access as the desk had previously done. No biggie but a little frustrating. Our main issue with the hotel was HIDDEN FEES. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged a fee of over $80 per room as a ”destination fee,” which was never explicitly disclosed & was certainly not fairly advertised. I asked about waiving this fee & the night desk said it was possible to check & see with day manager. The next day, they insisted the fee could not be waived & were unwilling to help with it further. I let them know I booked through a 3rd party prepaid, it said fees & taxes were included. They said read the fine print. They charged my card for the fees. Not being forthcoming and clear about the destination fee was the issue I had. And having parts of the hotel amenities, including outdoor areas, being closed off during the stay make this resort/destination fee more of a slap in the face. To highlight this point, the staff at this ”destination” hotel warned us that if we see some stuff a little run down or not in operation, its because the hotel just got bought & things wouldn't get straightened out until the new company takes over. Also minor issues for such a pricey hotel included missing slats on the inner balcony door & similar minor cosmetic issues. Other than that it is a beautiful building & top-notch location. Overall the experience was very enjoyable. P.S. The awesome bar tender makes delicious key lime martinis!

It’s too far out from the main area although there’s a shuttle into town. All our clothes smelt damp after just 4 days of being there. The room felt very damp the bed especially. Pool is ok but I’m sure you’d struggle to get a sun bed in high season. The beach is nice across the street but the sunbeds are rentable from a company $$$

Like the promotional pictures, small and exquisite hotel! In the opposite door of Hemingway's former residence, parking is more troublesome, but I still found the location, the room is not big, the breakfast is still very good, it is worth living, walking a block is the town commercial street

The hotel was great, clean and with all the necessary. The service at the restaurant was rather slow. The main remark relates to lack of clarity from Trip and the hotel on added costs: valet parking is ”mandatory” as the hotel doesn't allow guests to self park. This comes at a (hidden) cost of 50 usd per day plus taxes. The manager didn't mention this when we asked about the big deposit they were taking on our credit card. Unfortunate surprise contrasting with the wonderful time we had at the hotel.

I can honestly say I have never left a negative comment for a hotel but this was a real let down. For the amount of money that we paid to stay a this hotel, we were very disappointed. Our room was extremely small - our closet was a half size closet because of a refrigerator at the bottom - no even tall enough for my husbands shirts to fall without being wrinkled, let alone no room for dresses. No dresser or drawers in the room for clothes as well - just two small nightstands. The water pressure in the room shower was non existent - and the pool located at the Avalon House bleached both mine and my husbands bathing suits about 4 shades lighter - and not cheap suits either, good quality fabrics. Come to find out one of the other couples we vacationed with also had her suit bleached out and was offered a $150 credit for her suit - we were never offered any kind of credit, so I guess I didn't say something to the right person. Oh well - lesson learned, we will not be returning to this hotel.
