Travelodge Stirling City Centre

My boyfriend and I had amazing service from Georgia! She made us feel very welcome and even helped us plan our evening in Stirling. We will be back. This Travelodge is the best in Scotland by a mile. If Georgia is working, then you’re guaranteed to be looked after.

Reported on arrival no soap and after 2 night still no soap. Remote was grubby and dirt ingrained. Grit visibke in corner of bed between mattress and base. Shower base unit had cracks and black with dirt. Wont stay there again

Stayed for one night. Room smelled of stale sweat. No glasses in room - had to ask at reception. No hand towels in room. Was delighted there was a bath - water was luke warm at best. Breakfast was an absolute disgrace for £9.99. No croissants, pancakes, mushrooms or fruit salad were available. At one point, there was no juice in the machines. Half the breakfast items on the menu were nowhere to be seen. Staff were replenishing one breakfast item at a time and one member of staff was more interested in dusting during the breakfast rush.

Lovely hotel with convenient location for Stirling and surrounding locations. Room comfortable and well maintained. Free parking accessible prior to check in time.

Too many Travelodges that I have stayed at in recent times have been below par - this one, however, came as a pleasant surprise. Great location - only a few minutes walk to city centre shops and bus/train stations; lovely warm room (I stayed in February) and good choice of breakfast items. Friendly, helpful staff - will definitely go there again.

This travelodge had a makeover in the bar area last year so I couldn't use on my last visit but it now looks very nice downstairs. But the rooms are tired and tatty. Lots of marks on the carpets and filler around the bathroom. The shower curtain wasn't long enough so left a lot of water on the floor and a bath mat wasn't supplied so had to use a towel. There were thousands of cigarette ends outside right in front of the door as a bin hadn't been supplied so made it look very dirty. The staff were all really nice and friendly but I feel as it's was a young team they dont seem to be taking as much care of the place as needed. It's location is great but it's possibly the most untidy/messy one I have stayed in. It's quiet although it sits between 2 main roads and the railwayline, but couldn't hear traffic unless the window was open. Close to tesco and short walk to main highstreet and shops. Right by railway and bust station so location is excelent!
