Holiday Inn Express STIRLING by IHG ★★★
"My 2 adult sons and I came to this hotel because we had been to see the Kelpies, The Falkirk Wheel and Stirling Castle. We enjoyed the experience . The hotel was conveniently located for all the places we visited and also for a lovely drive along Loch Lomond. I really would like to repeat the trip."

Fletcher's Restaurant Bar & Rooms
"From the time we arrived we felt at home at this hotel. The staff here are exceptional, the location perfect, our room was spacious and warm and the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. If you are looking for a place to stay in Stirling I would highly recommend you stay here. Next time we come to Stirling we will definitely stay here again."
Golden Lion Hotel
"The staff are phenomenal with insight to surrounding history. The food was excellent and dessert (crannikan) was delicious. The history of the location and atmosphere is a plus. Rosalind Atkinson was a wealth of information and very attentive."
The Allan Park
"I really loved my stay The Allan Park. Such a nice cozy homie place. Very spacious room that has everything you need, staff is really helpful and friendly, cozy lounge room with a fireplace. The only thing I would suggest adding is the hook on a bathroom door for a towel. Would love to stay here in future and highly recommend for anyone."
Castle Walk B&B
"Whatever you do... don't book here. Parking is not nearby and free as stated when booking through AAdvantage Hotels. Even though this was pointed out the property refused to refund based on their inaccuracies. I wish I had read the reviews prior to booking here because I can see why there are so many 1 star ratings. Again, parking sucks and don't even try to drive up the road to park in front of the bed and breakfast because there is none and you have to back out the entire way you came. We paid to park to inquire within, but no one would answer the door."
The Inn at Kippen
Carr's Hill Luxury Safari Tents
Lost Guest House Stirling
"An excellent guest in the centre with a very affordable and good breakfast."
Rob Roy Hotel
"Came to this hotel on a coach tour this week and had an excellent time. The hotel is a little bit dated but the staff, service, good food and friendliness certainly made up for it. All the staff are pleasant and efficient and the hotel management should be proud of their employees as they looked after everyone very well. The 3 course meals were very nice as was the buffet breakfast. Everything was very clean."
Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa
"Very bad reception at that of Aberfoyle!!! -Reception: After driving several hours to get to the hotel we only wanted to eat and relax. We arrive to check in and the receptionist Emilia tells us 5 minutes I'll be there! (no hello, please or other polite wording!) She arrives after 15 minutes!!!!!! without apologizing and speaks to us very curtly (we realize that she is not happy at all) we ask her for breakfast hours, she answers us uh, first I must have your visa card. (still in a really not cool tone at all). she checks us in by slamming the keys and our cards roughly on the counter, -Restaurant: The waiters were not friendly either, no hello, the meal was really of poor quality, I find that so shameful for a normally 4* hotel!!! During our stay, we visited several hotels and b&bs and I assure you that we were received simply but so warmly and the quality of the products was excellent. What a contrast! We who are so delighted to come to this hotel given the amenities and the setting; I will definitely not come back there again and I will not recommend it! -Breakfast: The next day when you woke up, another great disappointment, how can I tell you that it was empty. Personally I find that what best defines this hotel is the appearance. At first glance it's very pretty, the setting is green, the interior is very elegant. The rooms are spacious but that's it. -The hygiene of the room was fair."
Altskeith Country House
"Location was beautiful overlooking Loch Ard. Perfect view to wake up to. Owners Alison and Yas were superb hosts who made us feel so welcome. Our room was lovely too. Immaculate, comfortable and all modern with traditional features too. Food delicious .The outdoor area was lovely as well with a natural waterfall next to the seating areas.Would highly recommend a visit. Definitely go back."
The Old Tramhouse Self Catering Apartments
Castlecroft Bed and Breakfast
"Castlecroft is in a perfect location just around the corner from Stirling Castle with a picturesque trail out the gate and, if you so choose, up to town by the castle. Rooms are lovely, patio has a spectacular view, songbirds and flowers in the yard, ample car park. Laura is a most kind and gracious host. Breakfast was delicious, and Laura makes her own bread for toast. We will definitely return on our next visit to Stirling."
Rachel's Farm Luxury Escapes with Hot Tubs
"Had a great weekend at Rachel's farm with a group celebrating friends birthdays. Great location with a really relaxing feel. Lovely comfortable, clean accommodation. Everything you might need, even a hot tub."
Springfield Lodge Bed and Breakfast
West Plean House
"Hannah & Nicol have the most welcoming, luxurious guest house. They have thought of everything but still like to go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. West Plean House A stunning rural outlook, only a quick 15min drive into central Stirling provides a perfect respite after a busy day of touristing. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
