The single room is small but adequate for solo. The decoration is cute. AC is working perfectly but hot water was only warm. Some tiny flies especially in the shower booth, but they install mosquito net for the bed so not a big problem. Shower booth without a door might make someone feel uncomfortable. The staffs and atmosphere are welcoming. The location is great. The breakfast is not a big portion but sufficient and delicious. For the price this place is a good, competitive deal.

Authentic hotel in African style, immerses you in African life. The room is generally good. There was no hair dryer, but they can have one on request. Climbing up to the rooms by stairs, but they help with luggage. The location is good, but you will need to walk 2-3 minutes to the hotel, a car will not pass.

It's a little hard to find because it's in an alley in Stone Town. The room was clean and cute with a blue theme, which made me feel good. There was air conditioning and there were no mosquitoes, so I didn't have to worry about getting bitten by them and I was able to stay comfortably. The breakfast at the restaurant across the street was also very delicious. The shuttle service to the airport was $20.

Rashid and Kelvin were the absolute best hosts! So nice I came back twice. Emerald Palm is the home away from home. Staff are warm and friendly and it's in a great location in Stone Town. Definitely recommend this hotel.
